Great info! The 10 million fine is a joke. That's just going to be absorbed as a cost of doing business for these big companies. As someone who has worked in risk mgmt for 14 years, we need to remove the cap and let these companies who will neglect compliance be fined in a way that will actually harm their operations and deter that kind of behavior. This only motivates smaller companies while allowing large ones to pay 10 million to get away with whatever they were already gonna neglect anyways.
