My 2004 Armada with 214K miles had the same issue, grommet broke, no shift at all. I watched your video, popped off the cover, drilled one hole, used a thick cable tie, problem solved. Saved me a tow bill and got me going. Did not cost anything, great hack!! Thanks

This just happened to us today in our 08 Armada with 257k. No issues at all with this beast and suddenly wouldn’t go into gear. I searched and your video was populated first. The part is on its way. Thank you!

I’m sitting in a parking lot, in my 2008 Nissan Armada, identical issue. Gears move, but doesn’t reflect on panel. I’m stuck and Armada won’t go into gear. I came to KZbin and discovered this great video. unfortunately, I’m awaiting a tow to the mechanic shop 😢😢😢

You sir are a lifesaver!! Tysm for posting this we had just finished shopping all day and got in our car to drive home and the car wouldn't shift!! I googled armada wouldn't shift and your video popped up. We had it fixed in 15 minutes ( well ziptied anyway ) where did you order the part? Idk abt you but our armada has had nothing but trouble recently.. we are selling it after we change the maf sensor...

If you stranded and have nothing 1: put in neutral 2: take off the cover 3: put it back in park 4: reconnect the line to the gear shift manually 5:slowly shift back to drive and it will work Got stranded thought my transmission gave out
