The pronunciation of the Qashqai improves ever so slightly throughout the video. It's a fun one to keep an eye on 😁

the Nissan Qashqai is the same as the Nissan Rogue Sport which is what is called in America. The Qashqai is the European name

Hi Dave, It is my understanding that this is the tech Nissan is going with until 2030ish. The Rogue will be available next year in North America. Love your videos

The Quashqai is often referred to as the Kumquat in the UK!, If you have another visit to Le Havre, I can highly recommend a trip across the river to the medieval port city of Honfluer. Some amazing harbour side restaurants but it can be hard to find parking and eating out isn’t cheap, but it’s a lovely place for a day trip.

The rental return experience is the typical service I have gotten in France over the years. Not isolated, I've been there dozens of times and it's irritating too often.

It's a pretty interesting drive train. Honda Civic does something similar but uses petrol/gas power only at higher speeds

95 octane fuel. Yes they do use a different system. In the USA it’s an average of the system they use in Europe and some other system.

About plugin-hybrids you said that you are taking heavy engine with you but actually plugin hybrids are lighter than EV-s where you carry heavy battery with you. 1. The Volkswagen ID.7 weighs approximately 2,175 kg. In comparison, the Volkswagen Passat eHybrid (plug-in hybrid) weighs around 1,800 kg. 2. The Hyundai Kona Electric has a curb weight of approximately 1,740 kg. In comparison, the Hyundai Kona Plug-in Hybrid weighs between 1,376 kg and 1,453 kg. What I want to say that it is better to drive Plugin-hybrid in the city than EV and then if you want to do a road trip you have diesel/petrol engine which you can use.

The Qashqai was Britain's most popular car in 2022, and the lower trims even come with a manual gearbox!

Something like this would really help nissan in the US. EDIT: Shame there wasn't a way to find out effeciency, like at least in metric and you can convert back. Also, on price cars have a VAT tax in Europe that has to be included in the advertised price and it's 20% if I remember, so prices are always way higher.

Size compared to model y?
@alexshapley83312 ай бұрын
did you think about googling how to change the infotainment language to English? If you get a Nissan X-trail (the next size up, I think you call it the Rogue in the USA, maybe a foot longer than the Qashqai) you can get an AWD ePower (they call it e4orce) - you get a much better suspension (super super smooth) and less noise inside the car (and it's MUCH quicker off the line too). BTW ALL cars in Europe are MUCH more expensive than in the USA (it's a tax thing...)
@YannickFrance2 ай бұрын
Contrary to North America, price car in France are always tax included (VAT 20%). So this 55000€ is equivalent to 45833€ before tax.

Didn’t one of the non-plug in Prius models work the same way. Or, was it a Honda? A gas engine charges the battery while the battery runs an electric motor to propel the wheels.
