I agree, Grumpy's commentary definitely adds flavour to your videos! That was very funny:"Here is the great Casey heading into the sunset!"... walking eastwards. Cool to see how you are improving your editing all the time. Driving around recording, already thinking about how you are going to edit the video (speeding up etc.). Sounds like you have a couple of very interesting stories to tell about trucks inadvertendly going over edges: maybe an idea for another video?

I think it's great you brought Grumpy along. Not only is it added safety to have someone else there in case something bad happens out on the trail, but it's good to have such a relationship with your neighbors, particularly older folks. They spent decades in their careers and raising families only to retire and have their kids move away, and unfortunately many end up not knowing what to do with themselves and feel alone. I'm not saying that's the case for Grumpy, but it is for many others, and the more often we include older people like you did the better. Even just riding around in your truck, chatting and holding the camera while you ask their advice, that may be the highlight of their entire week, or longer. Keep up the great videos, and keep inviting Grumpy along for the trip!

My oldest son was having a hard time finding a job in the small rural community we live in there's not many jobs because people usually retire from what they do luck with him being single he was sliding by on the farm alone but not getting ahead he decided to get his CNA because there were always places hiring CNAs he thought something is better than nothing till something else came along its been 5 years and he absolutely loves it hearing the stories from the old farmers stuck in the nursing home with no family in the area to visit he goes in on his days off often just to sit and listen to them some he takes them driving around to see their farm they still own and rent out show them how things have changed some love coming to our farm to see us working the gardens with the tractors they farmed with years ago it really brings him joy to see them light up because someone is truly interested in their life and he met a wonderful lady he works with that's truly attracted to who he is not what he has because she was blown away that he gets so much joy out of listening to how things use to be and some of the ornery stuff some of the sweet old men and ladies did when they were younger
