Great guide and recommendations! I always bag and tag my hardware as well, based on many years of loosing or forgetting how the hell it goes back on! lol

Just finished this job myself. Those airbag plugs and the bolts that hold the dash on those mounts are such a bitch to get out. Ended up with like 5 extra screws after everything was back together. So that was a hard lesson learned. I see why the shops charge 600 for this.

Do you have a video for the remaoval and replacement of the blend door actuator? Thank you!

There is no f**king way I would keep any vehicle that this level of disassembly was required to fix so defective a part that inflicts so many of these trucks. Ridiculous

I had to do all this so I could sell it and swear off Nissan forever!! Lol

@@deathwrenchcustom Have you tried to fix a new ford truck yet ? Lots of repairs require the removal of the cab . take a look in the bay at the local ford dealer , good odds there is one in with the cab off .

@@faircompetition1203 - Ugh. There are very few brand new vehicles I'd like to own. It's a very frustrating thing, because the older vehicles I LIKE are almost all beat to hell by now. I drive an '04 Mazda B2300 (Ford Ranger) with the 4 cylinder and 5 speed. It ain't a lot of fun, but it's simple and reliable as an anvil. On a side note, almost all japanese motorcycles are reliable as hell... so there's that option... :)

@@deathwrenchcustom I'd like an old dodge with a 12 valve in it . Then drop on that running frame a Land Rover 110 body

So on that piece that broke, the top of the bezel, do you have to remove the dash to take that out? Mine is broken in the same spot and wanted to replace the whole thing to get rid of some other imperfections but not sure if I want to take on removing the whole dash just to replace that. Thanks!
@deathwrenchcustom5 жыл бұрын
As I recall, that whole piece just held in place with clips. Just give it a good solid yank straight back.

What size are the freakin nuts that mount the airbag/dash down... losing my mind here lol
@deathwrenchcustom6 жыл бұрын
Are you talking about the ones right up against the windshield? As I recall, those were (of all things) 7mm. If you're talking about the ones that connect the passenger side airbag to the dash (that you have to get from underneath), I think they were 10mm or 12mm. Been a while though.

deathwrench custom parts for hot rods, rat rods ya they were a 10! I got a different angle to view them looking through where the glove box used to be and saw that everything I was trying was too small! Thanks for the reply! Your video and the FYI on those two bolts saved me a bunch of questions! Appreciate it!

Glad I took out a extended warranty I wasn't going to but finance guy said it only few hundred dollars more it was worth it .for I had to have the heater core replaced.It probably would have cost me close to a grand to have replaced. Compared to 100 with the warranty
