This is a TAS (Tool-Assisted-Speedrun). The game is played frame by frame (1 second = 60 frame usually).

Bass can't get all the CDs in one playthrough by himself, so no he can't. In a regular playthrough without collecting the CDs, Bass can do it much quicker then Mega Man.

I said this already in the Bass video, but Rockman & Forte (Megaman & Bass) was made for people in Japan who did not have enough money for a PSX at the time. They made a game for an, at the time, dying system, just so the poor had something to play.

The run abuses no cheats. In order to get into the walls, the run abuses poor collision check. Normally when Mega Man is inside a block, the game knows he is not supposed to be there and tries to eject them out. However, by abusing Cold Man's weapon, Mega Man is ejected right into the wall, and because the game tries to eject him, he zips very fast.

Throughout this whole speedrun I kept hearing the developers making the game. I can understand now, why the administration of Capcop was getting fed up with Megaman, and much of what I heard / saw gave me insight into the company. It's getting old. Everything I watch, every game I play. It pisses me off but I'm glad I have it. I can sense when someone is dishonest. It's the veil, it's much deeper. I just wish I could get some respect for my condition as being a timewarped veil psychic.

Mega Man and Bass is a different game from Mega Man 8. Mega Man 8 was released on the PS1 and Sega Saturn in 1997. It had anime cutscenes, (terrible) voice acting and secret bosses (in the Saturn version). Mega Man and Bass was released on the SNES in 1998 and re-released on the GBA in 2003. This has Bass as a playable character, CDs to find and 6 new Robot Masters.
