I watched this because I'm considering building a spirits deck. However, it hit me reading through that a new Kamigawa set comes out next year. Maybe there's enough spirits seeing play that this list could get an update in another year or 2 from now.

BrotherAlpha can you imagine him looking at EVERY Legendary card to see it's points? I feel like he'd have to be doing that on the side of his other videos for awhile

That is true. I was going to suggest splitting them off into types, but there are less than 50 Legendary Lands, so I don't know if 10 of them have earned points. There are exactly 50 Legendary Enchantments, so again, I don't know if 10 have earned points. He's already done Legendary Artifacts.

Mastblood At least you got to play them. Just before rotation I learned that there was a viable spirit tempo on Standard, so much regret.

Nizzahon Magic I really hope so! But it's highly unlikely that they will ever reprint spellqueller rattlechains or selfless spirit in standard again. I just loved how the final blue white flash list I had played because literally every spirit had flash or could get flash thanks to rattlechains. It also had avacyn as the top end finisher and the odds that both are ever in he same standard format again is 0% I guess I could try it in modern but there's just better options at that point

I love Lingering Souls so much, I played Mardu aggro in modern for 2 years featuring Lingering Souls, Bitterblossom, and removal from all 3 colors. I even ran an Olivia Voldaren with Falkenrath Aristocrat and Sorin, Solemn Visitor for some insane lifelinking combat plays. The Aristocrat was sooo good, 4 mana 4/1 flyer with haste that could become indestructible on the stack and pump itself was ridiculous. Honestly, I'm mad I took that deck apart. It was a lot of fun, but the meta revolved around Abzan, Grixis Delver/Death's Shadow, and Melira Combo. I slaughtered Affinity, Eggs, and Melira, but more aggressive decks that ran Voice of Resurgence wound up costing me games. I should've sided out my big win cons and pushed for token aggro against those decks but I didn't have the support I needed. And what was worse was when Abzan flashed back an LS and then put a Collected Company on the stack and hit Voice of Resurgence or Tarmogoyf. My meta was weird...

Agree with the stats and all that but keep in mind the synergys between decks like I must admit Geist is indeed powerful but blue white hexproof just seems like a bad deck when compared to green white but with that in mind I do admit lingering souls is for all intensive purposes is number one and quite literally broken when u put it in particularly go wide strategies like black white tokens when the Deck before that was quite literally just white very seldomly splashing for green or blue for card draw in modern that is
