While conceptually intresting it likely quite hard to make. They are likely powerful cards that have a narrow range of attributes. So the list will be 11th best draw spell, or somewhat mediocre cards that have a some extremely uncommon attribute thay prevents them from being able to win their own list. But also being worse than top 10 for their other effects.

Goblins seem to be the kindred most associated with bottom tier awful mana efficiency for their stats but with a usually above rate effect to make up for it, balanced back down by a major downside. I don't envy the designer who gets Goblin duty for the current xpac.

I'm fond of the 5 mana 1/1 "Beguiler of Wills" in casual games, although she's totally NOT competitive viable. If you can keep her protected long enough to untap with her she inspires a lot of salt. BUt hey I like stupid janky shit that only works when it's Christmas.

@@EwMatias It's not "unplayable" as much as it is not as invincible as it should be. Give it hexproof and then only mass exile, mass -x/-x, or sacrifice could kill it.

Alladins stats may be BAD, but that ability and cost are very good. If you can protect it, I see no reason why it wouldn't see any active play.

I was going to say Scornful Egotist as the worst 1/1 for the cost until you said, had at least a 100 cards that had a similar cost and stats. Modern players are easy to exploit with a topic like this. The whole "it dies to removal" is the coward's way to play. Even the best control player isn't going to have removal for days and it's all about the draw. If it dies to removal, build around and protect your little but effective creature. You have no idea how destructive an Akki Underminer can be if you know how to build. Pair him up with some evasion and other creatures like Cephalid Constable and you'll have easy control of the board.
