@seinlynn3738 I don't think there's any kind of a reset. It sounds like the calibration is off. I would just return it or exchange it for another one. It happens.

This one does not have an adjustable emissivity function. This one does for about a dollar or so more: amzn.to/47TRfOH

​@@roskaposti5808No problem. I got this as more of a novelty just to check out a few hot/cold spots around the house. I didn't need anything fancy or 100% accurate. I may get a more expensive one next year to measure the stakes we cook on the grill. If I get another one I'll post another review here for that one. Thanks for watching...😊
