Disappointed with the documentary tbh. I have a suggestion that I keep repeating. Please let the athletes speak in their native tongue. That way they can get into details about of their training, mental preparation, challenges faced, lifestyle leading up to the race in much more depth Also, in this documentary, what everyone said was what is already widely known: 1. This is a big deal for Joshua 2. He was confident/motivated/nervous,, 3. He's matured over the years. 4. Covid pandemic messed with the athletics schedule big time. 5. Goat of distance running As a runner looking to learn, I would love to get into the nitty gritties: 1. How these athletes live and train(details about track/hill/tempo/long distance runs), what schedule they follow, what they eat, what they do outside of training, what their gym sessions consist of, 2. Exactly how his training would change when training for the half marathon (since he came up short in Gdynia in the World Half Marathon Championships) 3. I read Joshua incorporates specific hill workouts in his training and that his slow runs are very very slow. Why does he do these? 4. Please expand on what the "12 special sessions" that he had were before the race If this channel is meant to cater to the average viewer, then sure this might be entertaining. But I wonder if a serious athlete will stand to learn watching this.

He is a world class distance runner he has my respect as Uganda is now the leader in distance running, but at least for me in order for him to be the GOAT he would somehow need to break Daniel Komen's WR's. Those records have stood for over 24 years most say are untouchable well Cheptegei took down records that stood for 16 years. So will see if he can break those impossible records and i see him holding all distance running records before he retires in the future. Only time will tell.

Joshua eclipsing Bekele will be insurmountable without great success on the roads. Bekele won way too many world cross titles at a time when the even was respected and possibly the most difficult event to dominate at the time, on top of that Bekele was double champion many times as there was a short and long course race back then. With some luck with respect to injuries it is achievable for Joshua to surpass Kipchoge on the road and be great enough on the track to be considered the greatest distance runner of all time. Kipchoge was never a massive world beater on the track and both Haile and Bekele have comparatively spotty records on the road.
