My mom found me and said “why don’t you do something? go outside, play, maybe chase the dogs around for a bit?” so I explained my (ever so big for a 12 year old girl) predicament. So she dragged me downstairs and we sat in front of the TV. She scrolled for a bit before stumbling on Night Court and said “I loved this show when I was a kid.” I wanted to be a lawyer at the time and had a very dark sense of humor so she immediately put it on and said “you’ll love Dan.” My mom was always right, and I did of course immediately love Dan. @@TheGuruStud And yet somehow they're the ones who have the money, not you, so I'd say it hasn't cost them by and large. It's easy to point at the things they get wrong without identifying what they get right. For example, some studio executive greenlit Night Court in the first place. I'm not going to deny that there are times when network/studio/label/game publisher interference has hindered the creative process and resulted in a bastardized work, but they just as often rein in the excesses of a creative type who doesn't know where to draw the line or finish a project.
