There is two reason why they doing anniversary series this year is : 1. gorenger is aired for two years. 2. patoranger and lupinranger is count as separated sentai. So, basically this series is toei attempt to fix the years of anniversary to avoid further confusion among the fans.

The way Sentai treats their anniversaries is still way more than what Power Rangers tries to do with their crossovers, at least they actually put some effort into it instead of just getting half of the expected cast back or bringing back random rangers, Beast Morphers and Ninja Steel!

The explanation for the anniversary stuff was given by Shirakura recently. It's because LuPat messed everything up by having two teams in one show so they decided to separate the teams as the 42nd & 43rd teams instead of having them both as the 42nd (Zenkaiger now is the 46th team and not the 45th anymore but yet Zenkaiser has 45 on his helmet lol!). They also wanted to distance themselves from Rider by having the celebrations by year and not what number team it is. Gozyuger still is the 49th Sentai but it's airing in the 50th year of the franchise's existence.

LuPat "messing" stuff out sounds a bit scapegoaty to justify their obvious lucrative desire to have a 2 year celebration. Because Toei literally has the power to just not count them as two teams. They even have the power to remove Card Captor as a Sentai despite it being considered one back in the day. Toei could even count Gouraigers from Hurricanger as separate teams if they wanted too. So I don't really put too much stock into what someone from Toei would say :p

One of the reasons that I’m willing to believe more than the year aspect, is that Shirakura himself said that they did this to shift it away from Rider, in order to stop coupling them all the time and pull a double anniversary year, which I’m on board with. Sentai and Rider go great together but it’s also a good move to make each one stand out on its own.

Probably not, probably only red's tegasword can become a robot. If you look closely, green's doesn't have the same gold armor as the others. I wonder if it uses the back of the tegasword robot

I know it's actually "Uu Uru Zazare!", but THOSE magic words work as well; so either incantation works. The Zord that belongs to Wolzard in question is an equine mecha, and its name is Barikion. Its steely hooves would flatten our magical mystical heroes down to the ground. Its neigh is so loud, it will annoy these superheroic sorcerers. So please do not call him Koragg, or else! That's the inspiration behind one of the characters who are part of next year's Super Sentai, the first ever female Black Ranger.

Now that we have a better look at the zords, I mean, it's cool that we're getting Humanoid Zords again.(Unless you again, count the Kikanoids.) Also, I knew it, we are doing rings as the collectable gimmick this year! As for our characters; GozyuWolf; I mean, it was fun having an actual Chadded Red Ranger with Taiya while it lasted. But hey, going by the description, he sounds like he's probably going to be a more abrasive, Jotaro-type of character so I guess he'd still be unique in a sea of hyperactive Red Bull addled weirdos shouting about friendship. GozyuLion: They(note; for the time being I'm refering to GozyuLion with They/Them pronouns) seem like the heart of the group. GozyuTyrannosaurus; Classic Yellow ranger, kind of the Gentle giant of the group like Raita/Yellow Owl. GozyuEagle: He seems like Ian/Kyoryu Black 2.0. GozyuUnicorn; She seems like a very stoic character, Which seems unique for our first female Black Ranger(Because I guess Queen Iroki as Hachi-Ohger doesn't count?) Our story; It's a unique sort of premise with our heroes being in a competition with the No.1 Monsters(Our villains Dujour), doubly so given that they're fighitng over the Sentai Rings. It sounds like a mix between Super Sentai Strongest Battle, and Kamen Rider Geats. As for them facing rivals with the powers of previous Red Rangers; I wonder what that means? Will it be like the Another Riders or Hitotsuki, where the Monsters are like corrupted versions of the previous Red Rangers? Or will they be fighting the actual Red Rangers, and thw Monsters will be stealing their powers like an evil take on the Gokai Changes/Avatar Changes?(Please be the former, because the latter sounds no different than basically fighting like the mindless empty suit clones summoned by Basco or Stacy every week, I think I'm starting to understand your disdain for "empty suit" crossovers.) Either that, or likelihood is the previous Red Rangers are somehow roped into this competition. Overall, again, the Hype train has officially left the station!
