Hey, ANdrew, a great look at 4 very sharp bits of new stock for you. As you know, I love the TPE livery anyhow and the Class 68 has a very German/Siemens/Bombardier look and feel to it. That class 87 I mentioned on another video is quite impressive in the Swallow livery. The DMU is another big winner in looks and style.

I’m catching up with my KZbin viewing tonight… One of my favourite models from the last few years is the Dapol 68 & like you I’ve just got hold of a TPE 68 after missing out on them first time round. What a stunner! Nice tip about the handles, I’ll be honest I didn’t notice they were missing! So I’ll have to check Dapol’s website..👍 You’re hitting all the right buttons for me while watching, I have a Hornby class87 (second hand) “King Arthur” & yes again another fantastic model, really well detailed & a superb runner even with that “bloody” DVT !!! Hi Andy- I have a Class 68 in DRS livery but the TPE livery is stunning . I have a couple of Bubble cars and they are great runners .The brake van is good too. Cheers Kev

I just bought 3 hornby mk1s from that Kernow place for £55 pound! Not bad considering other places are charging like £40 for 1 and I got 3 for £55 including postage.

very good video and very informative, the 68 looks great, i have refrained from buying one because of my experiance with the 121 when it was first released a few years back, it was a nightmare to run with a dapol imperium3 installed, same with a 122 i bought a couple of months back also with a imperium3 fitted, cant find anywhere what the ideal cv settings should be and both developed problems with the little plastic ball with two pins on the drive shafts splitting, the 73s from dapol i have are also very poor runners, the 87 also looks fantastic and you got a good deal there sir, there about 150 odd quid ddc ready if you can find one,👍
