Oh...My...Goodness! I made this today and it was an absolute WINNER!! I actually made one with a macerated strawberry topping. And another that I folded crushed Oreos through to make a cookies and cream flavour. Thank you SO much for sharing your recipe. I tried this recipe yesterday. Over whipped my cream and my cake still looks runny after almost 24 hrs in the fridge. It was not as easy as I thought it will be but it was a great time and it really does take less time. Looking forward to giving it another try because that is what I am sending to a cheese-lover for Christmas. Thanks a bunch for the lessons. You are making my new found baking hobby fun.

This reminds me of going to my Auntie Marge's house when I was just a little girl and she would make this dessert often. She used the canned cherries too. Often she made a large 9x13 pan as they had 5 kids and then there was my sister and I. Such fond memories. Oh and she makes the best pie crust ever.

A good alternative to graham crackers are Speculoos cookies. Biscoff brand cookies are pretty readily available in the U.S. Another good choice to boost flavor are Italian Amaretti cookies.

If you used regular whipping cream the cheesecake won’t firm up enough.

I would also add a bit of almond extract to the filling if I intend to serve it with cherries. Cherry and almond is a classic flavor combination that I just love. In fact I might substitute almond meal for part of the Graham cracker crumbs too.

Baked cheesecake usually cracks when it cools too quickly. I've had mine crack. They usually recommend at the end of baking the cheesecake, to turn off the oven and crack the door open and leave the cheesecake in there to slowly cool (can't remember for how long.) Cracking is just for visual aesthetics anyway it still tastes great.

This is the one I usually make except I use Cool Whip instead of whipping my own cream...and a container of cool whip is like .99 compared to whipping cream almost $3.00....and I spread out the cherry pie filling over the entire pie and put in a pie container and keep in fridge...everyone that eats it likes it and they don't know that it's not home made....but I like my crust baked for a few mins. instead of putting in the fridge....and I have just used the store bought graham cracker pie crust and it too is just as good....especially if you need to make them in a hurry....I always make 2 because one doesn't last that long :).

Hi Stephanie,even though your video was posted five years ago your no bake cheesecake recipe looks so good and tasty .I would like to make your recipe at home but I do not have a food processor or a fluted cake pan or a springform pan.I have a blender with a pulse button,a cake pie pan,four mini pie pans.In order to make your no bake cheesecake after I go grocery shopping.I do not like sweet cherries can I use another dessert filling on top of the cheesecake?

Yes you can add any topping to this cake and you can use another type of pan and use a hand mixer.

Baked cheesecakes are far nicer IMO. No-bake cheesecakes are great; absolutely delicious (and I will look forward to trying this) but baked cheesecakes are heavenly.
