My great grand parents, Joseph DeVito and Mamie Minatino, met while working at a copper mine in Texas. I've had so much more interest since learning their story, notice things made of copper.

Hey sweetie, just an FYI we’re talking about headlamp and it being really dark outside. I have electric pole right in my front yard. And it is so dark on my street that it was alarming. It only cost me $50 to have them put up a huge light on the top of that pole and I spend eight dollars a month in electricity to keep the whole front road in my front of my house my yard everywhere even my neighbors yard lit up it’s really really nice it might be something you wanna think about especially because you have all those predators there, and Lord knows it would be very alarming to walk out in the middle of the night and not be able to see something around the corner. Anyways, some food for thought there and your coloring is looking beautiful.

Wow, that reminds me of my fishing trip here I caught two rockfish and one lingcod out on the boat but then when I went back the next time, the seas were rocky and wild, and I spent five hours just laying there sick don’t ever go out on those rocky seas. I couldn't help but notice the size of your firewood. It would burn slower with an airtight and if it was only split in half instead of quarters.. Also get some peppermint mouthwash and spray around the base outside of your home will keep rodents out and I use it for toothpaste and mouthwash at the same time. Peppermint affects there sniffing ability. Heard it keeps spiders out as well. K.

Good Morning, what better way to start out the day than with a cup of coffee and an Alone video! So exciting about your ever-changing surprises--in-nature that you're finding over the seasons-I love it for you! Yay, you caught a fish! Only the first of many to come next season! I loved that clip of the boats at the dock-took me back to visiting San Francisco when I lived in the area years ago. I could almost smell that special smell that is only at the seaside. Such a fascinating old town that you'd toured and love the architecture of those buildings. I hope many of them can be saved (sorry I forgot the name of the town) Congrats on getting the oil tank settled and the moving and fixing the fan on your heater too! Will you be re-enforcing or putting in extra locks on that 'new' exposed outside door? Is it strong enough to withstand a curious bear or __ ? ..Never mind, I see the brackets listed on your Amazon wish list.. I love seeing the blessings that your fans are sending you. I agree, you do produce 'quality content'.. Til next time.. Love to you and Kenai

Happy Saturday! 🍂🍃 So nice being with your family. I remember seeing the series Edge of Alaska. Wondering if it was real or fiction, the opening of the mother lode. I am going on a hike with my two sons tomorrow. We are driving to the Mount Gausta. It's a 3 hrs hike to the top where it is a cafe (Thank Lord) and the entrance to the combined tramway and funicular, which will carry you up (or down) to 1800 meters above sea level. Built by the Norwegian military, it was completed in 1959, the Cold War era, it was a military command center inside the mountain. You can actually see 1/6 th part of Norway from this mountain top. In the winter time it is popular to take the tramway up to the top, and then free ride down the mountain again. Guess me and my old dog will use a bit longer than my two young "mountain goats", and they will have to wait for me at the top. This is the last chance to reach the top before the snow arrives. Expecting snow next week. It will also be the first roadtrip driving my EV. Exciting to see the range of it, climbing up in the mountains. I have noted where the nearest charger is along the route! 😅 Norway has a good infrastructure for EV´s. I was expecting to see you dive into the water at the end there. 😜
