Oh my goodness, 800 inches of snow in Valdez? OMG! Your daughter is a sweetheart, how wonderful to see the two of you together, twins! I love her advice about when visiting, just go visit the places that are a little harder to get to, not the places that everyone hears about. SMART!

Hi Bill! Why thank you! I will be sure to pass the compliment along to her. I never noticed how much we looked alike, until she sent me a side-by-side comparison of her high school picture. 😳 I was awe struck. Family is priceless and I am lucky to have the one that I do! Glad you loved the video. 🤗💛

Hi Tiff! Ah, thank you. I can only hope to be a pretty is she is. I hope that she will move to Alaska, even if she takes a job on the northern slope (about 7-800 miles away). I know she can make better money here than in Oklahoma. I do miss my kids very much. The only thing that keeps me from dwelling on it, is knowing that they are very independent and driven individuals. But I would love to see them all more often. 🤗💛

Hi Alone 👋It’s good to see you hun🤗 Thank you for introducing us to your daughter. She seems such a sweetheart like you and resembles you also🥰 That would be totally cool if she moved closer to you. I think it would be good for the both of you. I have to agree with her about driving in the snow, I hate it lol! You have great kids Alone. I don’t know if I could move that far from my kids. My daughter and her family live 3 hours from me now and I miss them all the time. Especially our grands😔 Anyway thank you for the beautiful tour of Alaska and I’ll see you on your next video. Much love, stay safe and God Bless🥰🙏

Hi Debbie! She really is a sweetheart and I do miss her and her brothers very much. If they hadn't moved so far away from me before I left Colorado, I probably would not have ever moved to Alaska. I, also, agree about the hatred of driving in the snow. I have never been a fan of it, but especially here. There are no center dividers for the most part; many areas that you would expect to have guardrails do not, and due to the pipeline shut down there are an extreme amount of tankers on the road, not to mention the moose. I figure even if my driveway is cleared to allow me to go run errands, I am better off staying put. 😁💛
@OurBucketListHasHoles
@OurBucketListHasHoles Жыл бұрын
@@AloneinRemoteAlaska Yes that is a little more dangerous without guardrails. I agree with you. I would probably stay home as well. I understand it is easier if the kids already have moved away. That makes a difference big time. They have their own lives as adults. Now you are living your dream like they are 🥰Much love, take care and God Bless🥰🙏

Such a sweet young lady. Not surprising as you show signs of being a good person as well. Your daughter should know that you live the life many, many of us only dream about. Peace, solitude and joy will be something she looks forward to in the years to come. She will be blessed to have a place already set up waiting for her. I do think you’re missing each other so much and you might want to fix up the bunk house sooner rather than later. 💖

Oh my goodness your daughter is absolutely precious. She’s so wise. And she looks just like her mama. My guy a couple times she turned I’m like wow wow. Both of your kids look like you though. This is an amazing little sitdown interview. I totally enjoyed this. And like I said once before, I really think you should go back to your natural hair color that dark would make your skin look so healthy. Because that white on white you’re looking very pale, almost sickly and I don’t mean that negative at all. I’m a registered nurse and so these are things that we look for. I know you’re not sickly but is the hair the white hair on the white skin. And that dark hair I’ve seen you have a few times with your root area. It just brought out so much creaminess in your face, it gave you color to your cheeks everything. And then I’m looking at your daughters hair. That’s exactly what your hair would look like. Anyway, I hope you take that positively. Love love love what you’re doing and you are so good at editing.👊💖

They had an open pit mine on the north end of Vancouver Island it was I think it was called Argonaut mines and we used to go up there every year do all of our crabbing it's just outside of Port Mcneil all that crabbing and all our used to catch all our black bass for the whole year used to can crab and salmon used to go out there and jig 'em I know you're not supposed to but we did and the game warden even knew it and he didn't care but we watched that over the years my mum kept taking pictures of the bay ocean and there was two islands out in the in the Bay the last year that we went there the islands were way in from where the mine is that's how much they filled in that Bay with their dumping all the stuff into the ocean they always get after people that do anything along the beach because it hurts the habitat but yet they were allowed to fill in miles and miles of ocean they've even lost lots of mind trucks and those mine trucks are huge once they mind truck falls over that's it that's the end of it person and everything they could never find them because there is so much mud on the bottom that it would just sink right into the mud and you could never see where it went it was totally lost and where the ships came in is probably oh maybe two or 300 yards across and big huge ships would come through there I don't know how they did it but that's what I used to go fish from my black bass because the tides were so fast you'd be sitting there jigging and the next thing you know the tide changed and you had water coming up over the back of your boat cause you were tied to the kelp I caught my biggest spring there over 40 pounds with a trout rod I was in the back eddies of the current staying out of the fast current cause I only had a 12 foot little aluminum boat jigging for crab bait waiting for it to go slack tied so I could go in there I had to start to boat up three times and chase its salmon because it was only a little trout rod broke my fishnet trying to get it in the boat when I went up on the beach hanging holding this great big spring salmon my uncle was yelling at me hide that thing hide that thing I couldn't understand why and then he told me that it's closed season for those at that time of year it was so beautiful meat fluorescent orange meat I was just waiting to cut a steak off it when we got home went to work came home and my mom can't and all I didn't get to have my steak
