More Volvo Goodness, I do like this C70, if I were to buy this car then I think I would be painting the parking sensors Body Colour, that's my only gripe with this car.

I bet the EML is on due to the LPG. Probably needs a LPG service usually due to the system running too rich or lean. It was on petrol when you drove it. The BRC kit is good but like all LPG kits, it's only as good as the installation and maintenance. Bifuel LPG was a factory option on earlier 5 pot Volvos but only naturally aspirated ones and they had a Bifuel badge to denote this. Engine also used in the Mondeo, Kuga and S-Max btw.

Yes, you are absolutely right, there was an LPG option on the 2.4 petrol cars, which is the same engine as in my S40. It didn't seem particularly fast on the petrol, and Leigh and I both agreed that although in some ways they are better cars than the previous generation, they don't feel as fast for some reason. Definitely spares and repairs, sadly... You are right, very similar T5 unit used in the Mondeo, Kuga, S-Max and Galaxy and others.

One of the chaps I know in the local branch of the Volvo Owners' Club has an almost identical one of these. I think that he was slightly horrified at the state of this one, but then again, it's up for £995!

Nice enough looking car. I never understood people getting LPG kits on cars that aren't well known as gas guzzlers, like a chap I knew who had one fitted to a 1.6 Focus.

This Mark II would be if the roof worked. It was broken in this example. The Mark Is were available as a coupé (which I have owned) and a cabriolet (which I have driven). The Mark IIs were a coupé/cabriolet,

Likeable cars that don’t sell well. Never have. Haven’t come good like Signums and Boras. They just sold slow from start. T5 helps sale. And low mileage.

They are very cheap, especially if the roof has a problem... I prefer the previous model, but then I am biased as I used to own one.
