I’m amazed at what they did with Mishima, they gave him a personality and everything, and he isn’t immediately forgotten even when he gets killed first (and in a bullshit way), the fact that his death is still of significance even this far into the game is just amazing

Ok so I haven't seen any comments stating this but, this is the first you see Keiji literally lose it. He will sometimes hold his face when showing any signs of stress, but he still tries to stay calm for the others even when someone dies, but at this moment when he's forced to recall his past and find out who contributed to his role model's death he goes berserk. I was scared because I was wondering how he'd tag him if he wasn't it, so when he stole it from Ranmaru I was surprised. Nonetheless he is my absolute favourite character along with Alice, they have gone through alot in their past but try not to make it get the best of them, seeing them break actually hurt me, such a wonderful game with interesting characters.

I know the "correct" route is Kanna's, but I liked Shin so much even before his true nature reveal, and after that reveal happened he became my favourite character. It was hard enough losing Nao, who's my second favourite character, and losing them both in one round just broke my heart in pieces. It just sucks... Also isn't it tragic that the only path to save Shin leads to his downward spiral? Like we've seen from his AI before the death game he was a timid and seemingly kind person, and in every AI test of this death game he always had 0% survival rate probably because he trusted in Sara and the others. So showing him this result from the start made him act like a manipulative person, trying to make it out like he doesn't care about anyone. But now that he truly lost someone he cared deeply about and survived instead of her, it's like showing that this was the right way to go if you want to survive, your kindness just means you'll die in the end. And then in this chapter he realises that the person who was his friend at some point was just using him from the start, then made some sick diary-journal, made an AI out of him and had his portrait on a wall. I'd be sick and lose trust in everything too, since he could veiw all this as "if I wasn't so nice and hung out with him even though I didn't really liked him, maybe I wouldn't be in this situatiin", like this is some kind of evidence that kind people would always get in trouble. It's like the futher he goes, the more Shin's soft-hearted nature dies out. I just hate this(in a good way), this dude either dies by sacrificing himself or hardens his heart and becomes the person he pretended to be

I completely agree. In my original gameplay (despite loving Shin more than Kanna), I killed him because I realized that was the best option for him. When we kill Kanna, it crushes him and mangles what is left of his heart. When we kill Shin, he plays it off as Sara hating him that much (when in reality, he is just trying to establish a relationship since he’d rather be killed because he was hated than because a person loved him enough to respect his dying wish). Of course it always makes me upset when Sara is like “yeah I hate you.” But yeah. Shin living makes his mental health just go waaaaay down, and… it’s hard to watch.

Despite this, the final result will not change. If you don't want to read the explanation, these should be all the characters in simple order. At this moment I write by heart, if there are errors you can get me noticed. Shin, Shin, Keiji, Q-taro, Q-taro, Shin. Here is the explanation: Change Shin's actions by using him multiple times, to the point that he asks Keiji to "Find a way, no matter how, to beat the shit out of Midori." After that, you have to calm down Keiji, because Midori will attack him, and then Q-taro will grab Midori's leg (a.k.a using it 2 times) and then you will have to use Shin. Midori won't move and Keiji will tag him. I'm sorry If there are errors, english is not my first language. :)

As someone that consumes more seinen than oxygen on a daily basis i would choose the sou/alice route any day. since the kanna/reko route was kind of more light? and the whole forgetting joe and shin hating sara (mind you i worship shin) just feels so much more better for me since both kana and reko's character arc are as good as finished so i don't really understand why most prefer the kana/reko route since both alice and sou are characters we (mostly) don't know jack shit about and in my opinion make chapter 3 much more interesting with me not wanting to bite my toes off whenever sou shows clear distaste on sara

Ok so I played all four routes and my personal favorites are the Kanna/Alice and Sou/Alice, it just makes more sense to me to keep the characters that know something about Midori, I don't really care for Reko and I kept Kanna alive to see the good Joe Ai, but otherwise keeping Sou and Alice alive is the best route to take if you want answers.

I guess there’s a possibility of one of the deceased ones ? So the most person I suspect is joe? Here’s an explanation: One of the lines he said it in chapter one that there’s a traitor between them , how the heck he knew??! And he was the first one who mentioned that in the entire game , also I’ve noticed that after his execution he is still holding the wrigglers even he is supposed to dead , soo his execution could be an act ? , plus when Ranmaru mentions about the traitor , he said that there’s a human from asunaro but you can ask him if it’s one of the *survivors* he will answer that all he he knew there’s a human traitor among them.. he didn’t define if it’s one of the survivors or one of the victims

....Yeaaaaaah..honestly, I'm kinda disappointed with this route. Like, it's good, but I thought that Kanna's death and Sou's thrall into hatred would have more of an impact on the story, I GENUINELY expected Sou to *truly* become the villain in this chapter and be against everyone to the bitter end. But his interactions with Midori are interesting, though.

I’m guessing the actual ending of chapter 3 will be vastly different depending on who lived in chapter 2. Like Chapter 3 part 1 will probably be like chapter 2 where no matter who died it’s essentially the same just some dialogue changes but the actual ending of the game will be completely different depending on who survived. I don't know if forgetting Joe is a bad thing, really. Not only is it much more interesting, but Joe is pretty freakin' suspicious. He's the only one of the non-candidates(?) with an AI and doll and what his coversation with Kai was has never revealed. He never mentioned it either. We also never found out how exactly he got the sacrifice card. Sure, we just assumed he picked it up when Sou placed it for anyone to find after getting it from Q-taro, but that wasn't ever confirmed, I think. I think the Sou/Alice route will probably start getting more uplifting, while the Kanna/Reko route will turn more depressing later on since both routes are so unbalanced. Maybe a combination of Logic and emotion might lead to the Best ending. Who knows? (Just kidding, those who played Chapter 3 section B already know.)

This comment is filled with spoilers regarding most of the game and storyline, if you already know the entirety of the game then please read and you're welcome to share your theories as well. If you haven't played the game please do so, experience it and come up with your own theories. 🤗 I was theorizing who could be the person working for Asunaro and my reasoning is complete garbage so I don't know if my ideas are good or not. So I ruled out the main five that can die in chapter 2; Sou, Alice, Reko, Nao and Kanna, along with those that died in chapter 1; Mishima, Kai and Joe. I want to avoid the cliche "Deceased never died" trope, I've seen it enough times to be annoyed by it. My first suspect is actually Sara, she may not know fully about the death game, she may have helped in it but had her memory wiped, it also explains why she was the only one that didn't sign the contract. Her family is awfully involved in it so it wouldn't be a surprise if she was the culprit. Second is Q Taro, he said that his orphanage shared the same name as Asunaro, but he may be lying about it. It's a little suspicious that an orphanage would have the same name as the group. Not to mention that the ending in chapter 2 when he escapes and let's everyone else die, maybe it was a plan, he was told to do this in order to kill everyone and be able to leave. My final suspect is Gin. We still know very little about him and his first trial, so it wouldn't be a surprise if he was just put in like Kai. I've seen others say he's suspicious because we never see his collar, well as shown in the video, he was hanged by his own collar. Some said it's not visible in his action CG, but it's the same case for Keiji as well, his collar isn't visible when you calm him down or when he's distressed, it may just be a mistake by the artists. It goes without saying that Keiji is the last person I expect to be the culprit. Though it would be shocking if our friendly policeman was working for the bad guys. Anywho that's my dumb logic as to who the culprit might be, if anyone reads this comment please be free to express your own ideas and have a good day/night.

I really suspect Sara and Gin. Sara and her family are too involved to even pretend Sara is innocent at all, and Gin has suspicious actions trough all the game (what was he doing in the first floor? why don't we know his first trial? why does an elementary student have even a small chance to survive when Kai, a literal assassin, doesn't even have the right to win? Nao and Joe should even have a little chance) I don't really think the mastermind is among them, but they aren't innocent either Also I think there's a lot of previous things that the game left unclear on purpose (I hope). Who really voted for Mishima? Was it the traitor? Why did his head disappear and where's now? Why you can buy certain victim videos but you need to find the others? Why can't Sara buy megumi's video? How can Mai blush? Why doesn't she have her gloves? Why has the human "Hinako" literally no desire to live but her doll wants to live? Was that really Hinako in the victim video? Hinako, Mai and Ranmaru are the most suspicious among the dolls, one of them has to be human

@@agostinacoronel2901 You bring up good points. I never trusted the dolls from the get go, so I wasn't that surprised learning they were to kill off the cast. It is a little odd that Mai can blush, but remember that the Reko doll can cry, same for Rio Laizer, so I don't think it would be too farfetched to say that they could blush. I think the reason you find the others videos laying around is because they expect you to find a way there and find them. For example, Hayasaka's video is the only that isn't required to be found or bought, isn't it odd they'd have a video like that just playing on the computer? They must've set it up and it may have been Gin who set the video. There's also the few that we still have no knowledge regarding their first trial, but Gin is the only surviving member that hasn't said anything. As much as I want to deny it, I still think he is very suspicious. For the Mishima issue, I immediately suspected those that had no votes that voted for Mishima, which were Sou and Nao. I don't think the others would deliberately vote for a young child so I think his vote was for himself. As for the missing head, he was still with Nao when they tried taking the body, maybe he grabbed the head and threw it in the vent. There was alot of commotion so they may not have heard anything. There's also something else I wanted to bring up, Maple. After playing over chapter 3, I realized that Maple is the obstructor in the thinking room, so I believe that in part 2 or later in the chapter she'll be a final boss, because it's weird you learn about the weakness but never use it.

Regarding Gin, every member of the main cast had a first trial that connected with some other candidate/non candidate or they had to do specific tasks to keep the game going (I also shall add that we don't know Reko's first trial, and I highly suspect Alice was supposed to be Hinako's partner but he abandoned her). It's more suspicious if you think what did he have to do if he wasn't connected to some participant or wasn't asked to do something specific regarding the game

I don't think keiji is going to die, since the only interesting character will be sou or known as shin, excluding the other route where there will be no interesting characters including shin so the game is going to be pretty boring unless they introduce an other character which I doubt, take danganronpa for example there were interesting characters in the end not going to say who since it's going to spoil the game. Edit: Oh and I would love seeing q-taro without his hat

@found the change name option lol my guess is maybe a choice between Keiji and Gin. I don’t think whoever you saved out of Sou/Kanna and Reko/Alice will die personally at least not Sou/Kanna and I don’t feel like the game will make you chose between Q-Taro and either Keiji or Gin unless they give him some character development like Sou. I feel like the chapter 3 main game will end with you choosing between Keiji or Gin. That’s just my take though.
