2:05 Those are indeed the same species, just different breeds. Back in the day, before pigeons were viewed as pests, they were kept as pets and bred to look good. In fact, all those pigeons you see in cities like London, Singapore, and NYC are just domesticated versions of the rock dove, whose native range is from Spain to India. It's a shame they're viewed as pests, because when it comes to war, pigeons helped big time and won 32 Dickin Medals for WWI and WWII. Also, kudos to the shop for their quick thinking of locking the door in time. Absolute geniuses, and so calm too.

I used to be a paperboy in my teens and once asked the local postie (who I was mates with as we had the same route) why the shorts in all weather. He told me it was because if they got damp they wouldn't stick to the legs like trousers would, it's literally for comfort and you get used to it pretty quick lol.

Another thing about the Isle of Wight, their rail line, the Island Line, uses recycled TUBE stock. The current rolling stock is the British Rail Class 484 which is just a recycled version of the D78 stock (District Line). She was rooted on via the mailbox by her nosy neighbour that came to find out what all the banging was about.
