Not everyone likes ordering the Xiangshang hood damper kit from AliExpress, so I found a similar kit from Tsubasa on Amazon. The hardware pictures on their listing at the time of posting aren't accurate, but the Tsubasa parts are the same as the Xiangshang ones.

@DerrickAquino I’m still using my original hood rod. It’s an 8.5 year old xB. And still works fine. But I’m a fan of those hood struts. A little bit of refine hood pop. Do u recommend these hood struts? I don’t mind the carbon fiber one. They look awesome ❤️‍🔥

If they're exactly like the pair that I just swapped out, then yes. It's way too early to tell how well the dampers will holdup since I only just installed them, but once you have the mountains installed, it's just a matter of replacing the damper itself down the road.

@@VampyreX13when u pop the hood between with the hood rod to hold the hood, and the hood struts, when u pop them open what does that tell u? Like why do I still have this shit when I other cars have hood struts or, I prefer old skool rod.

@@toyotabrony I took my rod out, but if you are doing any work in the engine bay that requires the hood to be raised more, you can just disconnect the dampers then use the secondary hole on the hood with the rod to prop it open higher.

Can you clarify? I'm a little confused what you're asking. Do you mean the cabin air filter? That's the only one that would have anything to do with charcoal filtering and that has no impact on engine power.

becuse stock aire filter box in the got to 2 the one you replace and second ons is the charcoal what happen i remove the second one in the engine

@funnypotatoman773 I haven't had the factory air box in my car for years, but I vaguely think I know what you're talking about. I'm going to have to dig up in my attic and find my air box and have a quick look at it later today, and I'll get back to you. Is it a filter that's part of the airbox and not usually replaceable like the standard paper air filter?
