This is a great showing of spinning uchi mata with no gi! I really like this throw, and I'd like to be really good at it, put sometimes I think i forget to pull the arm because I focus too much on the leg reap, and then I fail the throw.

Sensej…Awesome tutorial and detailed explanation of body positioning, proximity, and movement to complete the throw. Ive studied juijitsu for 1.5 years and they never really cover takedowns and when they do its very brief. Ive only watched a few judo channels and yours is the best!! Ive subscribed to your channel and will watch everything!! Tremendous class Sensei!!

Excellent done sensei! That is a true ashi-waza! Most of the uchimata videos on youtube are with hips involved, turning it more like hane goshi, or even harai goshi. PS: I dont know if uchimata is the best option, can be difficult to hold the wrist no? I dont know.

Best option for what? I don’t think that he is making an argument. He’s simply showing the uchimata without a gi.

Sensei, for this no-gi version, do you need kuzushi? Secondly, with your first step, do you step past the tip of the triangle, and have your toe be inline with your opponents toes?
