From a purely RF standpoint, when one antenna is constantly moving and polarization is linear, it's best to use two monopole antennas at 90 degrees to each other, as you have done. Dipole antennas (Immortal T) are better suited to stationary tx/rx where you want to orient the dipole in a position that provides the best reception or transmission. I don't use crsf, but it makes sense that you have better results with your L antenna than with the Immortal T.

In the same vein as the FaceHugger, I think we need an Ethix couch-style mount that fits the Apex frame. I'm rocking the Ethix strap + FaceHugger + foam wedge and it's just not secure enough with full sized Heroes. The Session was fine, but the extra mass and the height of Hero is too much. Also, my foam gets all squashed after like a week.

I switched to a different frame myself ... (will not mention brand, since I am on Steele's Channel) ... But I am for sure going to checkout this new frame ...
