Can you do an honest review on heat pumps on existing houses please

What is the cost of the full installation

Mine was around £30k

On a like today, what sort of energy are you getting from your system?
@AllenHart9992 ай бұрын
We have done about 3.6kwh today so far. Not amazing.

@@AllenHart999thats bot bad at all. Ive done 1.5kw. These are the worst months coming up ahead. So me and my hybrid heat pump will feel it as be paying for more energy. But when skies clear abit we be producing again so kinda balance bills out. Hopefully. Allen has battery storage so thats key. Mine just goes back to grid. Costs me to get showers at night and whatnot when not producing. Allen can jus use his battery and then fill back up. Send some to grid and get paid. Fill back up and so on. But these months suck and everyone just put bills up yet again. 😢

Seems attractive until they start charging consumers for sending their electricity back onto the grid

The cheapest system at the moment is to get some storage batteries, a grid tied inverter with a limiter and a cheap offpeak tarrif, charge the batteries offpeak use them at peak time, this works if you dont have space for solar panels

What night rate are you getting with intelligent octopus go? In regards to the batteries, do you charge them up to 100% on a daily basis?

How much does all of that equipment cost Alan and how much was all of the installation, Correct me if I’m wrong but it’s going to take years to make profit on all of this,
@trevorstaniforth66702 ай бұрын
What would the installation cost be for that system Al?
@AllenHart9992 ай бұрын
We paid around £30k. Thanks.

So what do you estimate the payback time to be?

@@anthonyschofield7807 google search shows 15k will take 12 years to break even again so i imagine it to be in the ball park of 30ish years if energy prices don't change much

did you ditch your fronius inverter or just move it

allen its been a while since you have done a comparison or boiler review, with the recent updated worcester bosch 8000+ please compare it against the existing models especially the regular boiler model that any may look at due to modulation. levels being far better than other brands models that have had no updates since due to the markets mainly going to combi for a number of years, But more importantly I have absolutely no idea even from the official vid just what has changed, the vid talks about being more efficient and use less gas but the specs don't marry that in fact it may be a miss print on the site but 40, 45 and 50 seem to have the same flow out puts now a downgrade on previous models, and other changes aren't listed either, ir if they support hybrid heat pumps setups with the combi etc.,
