No More Heroes 3 is an amusing but extremely uneven sequel only likely to appeal to Suda 51 diehards - and even for that audience, it takes several steps backward from the likes of No More Heroes 1 and 2. Combat can occasionally find its flow, particularly during its entertaining boss battles, but poor technical performance and the barebones tedium between them make this a lackluster homecoming for Grasshopper Manufacture’s flagship series.

It's totally fair to expect improvement from a game while having love for what makes it special ~ Breath of the Wild for Zelda fans, or Persona 5 for Persona fans are great examples of this.

Why are people acting like a 6 is unfair? The game is boring af after you realize you've been spamming X or Y (no, there isn't any delayed input attacks. It's just XXXXX or YYYYY), fighting the same 6 enemies, and unlocking nothing but T-shirts for the past 5 hours. inb4 "so it's like the old games". Nah, the old games at least had a high/low mechanic in its combat, wrestling moves to unlock, full outfit customization, and more than one weapon.
