I think the judges should always judge blind. You clearly see bias and favoritism among the judges. I think most smart people can see that.

I don’t think the judges have as much say in matters as they want us to believe. These decisions are definitely made by the producers because in the end it is a tv show. Not a real competition. James should’ve gone home but at the last minute they gave him a second chance. That’s because the producers can’t have the best artists eliminated early. Bad for tv. It’s not real.

I have wanted my black Labs portrait on me for years, but knew I would be devastated if he came out disfigured. This tattoo could be his twin. Beautifully done. 🎉❤

I agree With Mandii B, every time competitors team up to try to eliminate a "better" tattooer, rather than being motivated to beat the best, they lose me. If you want to win, you should want to beat everyone, not avoid facing certain competitors.

Typical Ink Master fashion...don't send the guy home on some "tattoo sin"...send him home next week in double elimination. And where usually "the top" people have a weakness but they get saved. James should've went home on his dog tattoo and that would be it. There was no need for double elimination. Same thing was with Pony when he was at bottom he got this magical save of another chance.

As lovely as lucy red panda tattoo is, unfortunately "red panda" seems misspelled in chinese, so this is a huge flaw the judges should have taken notice of. 小红猫 (xiaohongmao) reads as "red cat". The correct chinese spelling is 红熊猫” (hongxiongmao). 红 is red and 熊猫 is panda. 猫 by itself means cat.

No one's gonna know. This is why I would probably never get Japanese tattoo or any other foreign based lettering tattoo because words can have multiple meamings. Kane in Japanese means bell but can also means money...and probably other meaning that I don't know of. I know this is not Chinese and not best example of one word versus 2 or 3 words...but point is it's just that no one's gonna know. At some book event there were these chinese students that were handwriting people's names. I'm pretty certain that those students just wrote whatever they want and people thought "oh my god..this is my name in chinese"....yeah...no..you have no idea what it means. And it was for free but I skipped on that because as cool as the letters would look...I would have no idea what they actually said.

That guest is so ignorant. Not everyone should be tattooed. I can admire art even if I don't want it on myself. People without tattoos are rare and are to be celebrated not judged.
