No more plastic zip lock bags for your Sourdough | DIY Sourdough Bread Bags

I finally found a solution for my homemade sourdough loaves. Boules of sourdough never quite fit into a gallon freezer bag. And they get soft and stale. So I came up with a couple quick sourdough bread storage bags! Yay no more plastic Ziplock bags!! Plus I hate going through so many plastic bags.
If you bake sourdough, you know you need a long term bread storage solution. We bake a lot of loaves! These bags will last a LONG TIME.
Just make sure you wash the fabric before you begin the project. Use 100% cotton or linen.

So smart! I love this tutorial! Now I'm thinking I actually need to start a sourdough starter just so I have an excuse to make a bag like this lol... And btw I love tea towels. AND using up scraps.

Hi, not criticizing but when pinning fabric together, fur. Your pin so the head of the pin is hanging off fabric and sharp end is pointing into the middle of the fabric. That way you can see right over the pin and remove them after. Love the video. ❤️

I always wash and reuse my ziplocs...I may purchase 1 box per year!
