I mention a phenomenon here where you actually perform your best when you feel your worst. If this has happened to you, what is your theory as to why this happens? I have my own theory but would like to here your thoughts.

Maybe your expectations can’t hold you back because they are very low or even negative

Thanks Coach! Great knowhow here... Just this week I had a pretty short and interupted night, coming out of bed I had no strenght or motivation to train.. but did my daily breathwork, at this time both of my cats want some attention...and I was thinking skip the morning session do breakfast first.. but playing with the cats distracted me from no motivation. So after breathwork I stood up and prepared my breakfast ad always ( put everything there so after training I can charge this food🤪). Got on my bike and went to the training spot, and thought... I was not planning to train.. alright just go.. I can always deload. So did my Handstand session and had two Prs a tuck hold with the head in at 60 sec and changing head position in a straight Hs 15 reps.. Damn this is amazing.. and this happend to me in the past .. juwt go qnd do the Work, the results are not always going up, there are just different days, that's what makes it all Worth right.

True! Some of my best performances in movement and back when I was in school were in really bad days. Generally, I feel more focused or more attentive to details. Maybe because I give everything to the task at hand in an effort to escape whatever bad is going on. Rather than being distracted, I am fully focused on what I am doing so that nothing else matters.

Ah your thought also borders along the same line as my theory here!

Great timing for me to watch this. No sleep last night but let's do it! Those are the days that I appreciate the practice the most. My theory for the good performance on bad days is that getting started already feels like you performed well on this day and thus takes away the stress of the expectation of a good session which leads to a good session. Thank you Antonio for the motivation!

I feel like this was made for me haha. Keeping the practice up during my recent trip was a huge challenge. It will make the "normal" circumstances feel easier in comparison :)

The fact that you went through that is going to be huge for any other difficult days. Not many people can or want to practice while on vacation. Also, based on the amount of similar responses like, "this was made for me", it is good to see that we all go through these things on a daily basis. It is seldom talked about or acknowledged and this may be why some lose the practice. They feel they are somehow different than others that continue to practice.

This is very important for everyone to understand. Yes, there is always an excuse to refrain from physical activity, but doing so will not help us. Your 🦷 I found this video extremely helpful. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqPTf6WApK1nras This man researched the dental bacteria and the substances that fight the bacteria. I have been washing my mouth with coconut oil! Sounds freaky, but I have had a cracked tooth for 3 months, food keeps getting stuck in it. I finally have an appointment for the extraction. Not so many dentists out here. One just recently passed. It is a long video but the info in it is excellent! Should help you. Many herbs that you may chew to help fight the dental bacteria.

I'll take a look, thanks! I am familiar with oil pulling and have done it in the past but not for more than a few weeks at a time. My tooth pain was from a poorly performed surgery done a few years but keeping the teeth healthy is very important.
