I've heard that you could heat up the bottom of a metal spoon on the stove and then use the heat from it to melt the sugar.

When me and my mom made creme brulee we actually melted the sugar first and then put it on. you don't always have to torch the sugar. There are many ways to do it

Wondered myself same questioning thing, Then, beneath a video, in describe Suddenly I've found this Ingredients: 100g banana 200g coconut milk 200g any vegan milk(I used soy milk) 50g cane sugar 30g tapioca starch(any other starch can be substitution) 1/2 tsp agar powder a quarter piece of vanilla beans 2 tsp cane sugar

I was looking for something to do with a couple of overripe bananas and found your video. The only ingredient I didn't have was the agar, but it seems to have come out fine with just the tapioca. Great non-dairy idea - Thanks!
