I think Maddie would also be quite upset because she’d feel like she let everyone else down (especially Abby) but I think that she’d also congratulate Chloe on her win and be happy for her. It’s possible to be disappointed in yourself but happy for others. I feel like that’s how Maddie was a lot of the time. She felt that she’d let herself down by not winning (we can thank Abby for that immense pressure on the poor child) but she’d still be happy for her friends who won.

She's not obsessed with Maddie herself but with what Maddie is. An incredible dancer. Because thanx to Maddie, Abby's studio could be on top most of the time. Abby cared about herself the most and wouldn't really care about Maddie if there was anybody else who would perform, dance and most importantly win as her. But there wasn't so that's why it looks like Abby cares only about Maddie and anobody else.

From what I saw on Dance Mom's uncovered that Maddie did a front aerial which scored higher than Chloe's executed side aerial and that Chloe scored 27.5 when the max scored allocated was 25. Please do not get me wrong Chloe should have won but Abby was cruel to Chloe that she had to clarify the scores. Chloe did not deserve that treatment.

just a roll of toilet paper Nia was a good dancer. Abby only gave her lead roles when it was necessary like the Rosa Parks number. Nia excelled at jazz, musical theatre, and acro but Abby never gave her solos that showed her strengths. She was always given racially motivated solos.

Also Kendall's "Maddie solos" made it to this video and Kendall's entire story line throughout the show was about being the next Maddie: Nia and Kendall were on the same level dance wise when they were younger and Nia became a stronger dancer in my opinion towards the end of the show. Just like what @Tamia's Camera Roll said, Nia excelled with jazz, musical theater, and acro... that doesn't make her a weaker dancer. Outside of the show Nia was getting roles Off-Broadway, in music videos, and several theater based performances focusing on dance. Kendall went more of the influencer/singer route. I'm not sure why the fandom thinks that Kendall is a better dancer than Nia... I guess that's because Nia only shined when Abby gave racially motivated performances to Nia vs Jill, Abby, and the producers trying to make Kendall K a thing by giving her a solo every other episode to "prove" how much she deserves to be "the next Maddie." Ashlee is pretty much the worst mom off the show in my opinion but she made points about Kendall as a dancer and Jill. Jill entered the show trying to force everyone to think Kendall was better than she was and that's not Kendall's fault but I can't with fans who try to say Nia is a bad or weak dancer when the other girls got things that showed their strengths in ways that Nia did not. Just because Nia is not really a contemporary lyrical dancer doesn't mean she's bad, even Abby said she had the strongest chance to do theatre and performance dances which she is actually doing now.

Naomi Seldenrust I agree. Actually, I personally think that this was more of a ‘Chloe’ solo than a ‘Maddie’ solo. The moves were more controlled and elegant, which is what Chloe is better at. There are very few acrobatic movements, save for the aerial. It had a lot of graceful turns, which Chloe was better at during this point in time. This piece called for more subtle emotions, which Chloe had, while Maddie’s were more theatrical and meant for extreme pieces. Overall, it was a graceful technical solo, which were Chloe’s strong suits so I’m not too surprised that she won. I thought this solo suited her beautifully! Really the only Maddie moves were the leaps 😂

Everyone’s talking about the other girls, but no one’s talking about maddie. It must be so tough for her to always have Abby put her to such unrealistic standards, that she can never take a break and always has to be the best and be perfect. And the fact that the other girls get put against her, makes her isolated, and if u watch the whole show, she doesn’t really have much moments that she’s really close with the other girls, which is rlly sad.
