5 and a half years ago we were lucky enough to meet a cat that had been adopted and returned several times to the same shelter. She became such an important part of our lives. To this day, we still can't figure out why people ever returned her. She was the sweetest soul I've ever met, so very loving, so very fun to be with.

im sure im thinking of a bad idea but why not give the cat food that is super loose which results in natural diarrhea? as opposed to medically induced diarrhea.. :)

Because with lactulose you can manage to control the issue and not induce diarrhea, just help the cat to do the normal poo. With the food it is uncontrollable and exactly -it can give you lot of cleaning and lot of discomfort or pain to the cat (or any other animal), especially if the cat faces food allergies...

I brought home a special needs senior cat when I retired as a vet tech 18 mos ago and it was the best decision I've made in years. Linus was dropped off in our parking lot w/a severed tail 11 years ago that was infected and had to be amputated. He became one of our clinic cats but developed health issues about two years ago and needed more regimented care so I brought him home. Linus passed two weeks ago peacefully and I miss him terribly.

This is my cat's story too! My sweet GiGi was a stray, was hit by a car, had pelvic surgery and other surgeries. My landlord at the time, her son was a vet adn i wanted a pet so i visited his office and GiGi was in a crate with a note on it in the lobby. I took her home in 2009 and she has been with me since. She still follows me EVERYWHERE to this day.

I think she is absolutely adorable, I just want to hug her I have a lot of cats and I have raised a lot of them and each tugs at your heart, I wouldn't give any of them up. We actually brought are cats from Palm Beach Fl when we moved to Jacksonville, I was determined not to leave them there, a lot of people when things change they leave the animal behind and I did not want to be like them. I knew it existed. There it is. It is - The Cuteness!!!! I knew one existed. She would be my type of cat, t t e what I call the weird one just like me. Fun, cute, smart, and very,very, funny and durable. But most of all VERY LOVING! Thanks for taking her in immediately when you saw her, no judgement. I rescue dig/kitty/ strays on the street constantly since I was a little girl. I seem to have this knack lije St Francis of Assisu . They always find me but I am always looking too. I live taking care re coffee all t he animals abd if I have the knowledge and skill to not only help them medically abs take away their pain but to hold them and make them forget it is the best gift God ever gave me. To heal inside and out these little munchkins. I love them all and find homes for them all. God bless uouvand your family for helping her! They all need love and affection and appreciation. Just in case you are wondering I am a healer and have done many great things especially when I find them in their last moments of their life. Itvis a truly blessed gift I was born with and that's why I say I like them alittlw weird(different) like me, the weird kid who can see, communicate, and heal.
