As a child I snuck off at times, had my mom very worried, ha ha! I think I only left my parents around trustworthy people though, when I went off on my own. At home I'd just go into the forest or apparently took a walk with our dog, when I disappeared. So, once, we were in an arena, there was a big gathering for a specific, friendly religion, I explored on my own. No harm came to me, I think I knew I would be safe among them, as I don't ever recall having went off in a mall or any other public place.

I want you all to know that when I saw the video this morning, I was happy for a moment in a stressful day and decided to watch it later as a reward for getting through the day. Yvonne, I appreciate and respect the time you take to not only work at the stable, but to edit and create all the videos (with a young family no less). For all the other ladies (Rinske, Geertje,, Gea, Oda, little Faya, [I’m sure I’m missing someone 😕]) as well as owner Rein, thank you, it couldn’t happen without you. I know you have heard this, but truly, thank you. You all have become family. In a very crazy world, you are minutes of sanity, and smiles. To share your world and especially the beautiful, amazing herd of horses is a gift. You make a difference. Currently my favorite moments of the day is to curl up and watch the videos. Yvonne you are incredible and the relationship you have with the horses is inspiring 🧡. I always look forward to the KZbin notification.

They are such sweet, curious, beautiful horses. I think it’s nice that you let all the horses check out the pretty gift. What a good mother Sjirkje is to Sanne. She panicked poor mom. That’s a terrible feeling when you look for your vulnerable baby, puppy, etc. and they’re gone. Panic, I’ve been there Sjirkje … you’re a good mom, now breathe!! Senna is such a beautiful dog. Poor Sjirkje! Still, it was really beautiful to see her reaction to go galloping in search of her foal! Perhaps she was caught napping and momentarily lost track of her filly, who just followed along when everyone else went in. Also, absolutely love how you interact with the horses--engaging their natural curiosity and interest. And sweet Senna may be going deaf, but such a sweetheart! Love seeing the different animals who call the barn home!

We get brief/good look at Waloubet. She really is a beautiful Zangersheide mare. Interesting how Waloubet became very animated only when Uniek and Sjors trotted by. She could be in heat, and or also likely a very dominate mare and trying to impress big herd boss Uniek? We already know Geertje who is dominate and most likely leader of the non-foal adults and Waloubet do not get along at all. Gentleman Sjors is mellow, and now excepted by the Mom group to pasture with them. Waloubet continues to be separated from the various herds 🤔

Yes 🤔 interesting observations Pake...well spotted 🕵‍♂️ Having watched that bit several times over I think it is more likely showing off to Uniek than Sjors, Waloubet seems to be looking more in Unieks direction than his? and if she was in heat surely Sjors would have shown some kind of interest in her scent even being a gelding? Uniek pauses for just half a second as she turns the 90' corner out of the pasture and looks at Waloubet, but chooses to carry on and ignore with Regal poise 👑 I think your bang on with your speculations about Waloubet being a dominant mare and this is most probably the reason she is kept separate 👍🙂 On the 1's and 2's aren't they all looking fabulous 🤩 at the end of yesterday's visit with them at the wire I noticed Klaske tell Marije to move and I smiled thinking 'Yes Klaske is probably enjoying not being lowest ranking this year now the 3M's have joined them 😉😁

Aww, Lianne is as cuddly as ever 😍😍😍! Is Jildou bigger than Gea now 😱😱😱? The youngsters have definitely grown a lot over last winter and in the spring 😍😍😍. Reintje definitely likes the knitted Friesian filly 😍😍😍! I LOVE Reina's goal coat - it looks so velvety - I bet that it feels velvety too 😍😍😍. Poor Sjirkje!! That Sanne is definitely an independent little minx 🙈🙈🙈. I bet that Sjirkje gave her a right telling off and grounded her when she found her, although I bet that Sanne is like a naughty teenager and snuck away again, the next time they were in the field 😂😂😂! Senna's gorgeous 😍😍, and obviously loves those treats 😊😊😊. My dog, Sally went deaf when she got older too, which was interesting when we wanted her to come back when we were walking her on the beach 😂😂😂.

Yes it was very beautiful to see Sjirkje in full throttle through the meadow looking for her baby. The communication between her and her foal was beautiful also. She was determined to find her baby before she went inside. I played the video over and over just to see her running thru the meadow so strong and graceful.

It is amazing how big the yearlings are! And how you guys keep it straight in your mind which horse is which with no white markings or much variation in color for clues! I am very excited to see which mares are in foal again for next year. Hope the vet found that all the ones who were supposed to be in foal had settled!
