Learn from my mistake, move your trailer every once in a while, and don't let it sit. Youll wind up with flat spots and dry rot on the tires. Was a costly mistake for me.

The last thing you want to do if you are stung, bitten, or poisoned, is panic. All you'll do is raise your heart rate and speed up the reaction. Remain calm, use any means you can to slow the toxin down, and get to a place of treatment as fast, yet safely as possible. The quicker you can do that the greater your chance at survival. That doesn't mean take off running, just try your best to get help as quickly as possible, while trying to maintain a calm composure.

My epi pens cost £9.90 each (about $12.50) on prescription in UK. Because I’m over 60 I now get my prescriptions free of charge. It’s insane that you get charged so much in the US. Those things cost so little to produce.

Luke, get some fibered roof coating. It's usually in an aluminum color, and you can probably find it at a mobile home supply store, or a farm and ranch supply store, like Tractor Supply, etc. Get a paint roller with a long handle, a paint roller tray, and coat the roof. The fibers should plug any leaks, unless they are huge. Even then, 2 coats should do it. Painted our equipment shed on the farm with it, maybe twice in 15 years, and no more leaks. Even painted the side walls with it, too

Epi pens are way too expensive in the USA - it's corporate theft. Here in Australia you can get 2 under $80AUD (about $53 USD) without prescription, $32AUD with prescription, and less than $8AUD if you are on a pension. (Google epi pen costs Australia - i used the chemist warehouse price today). American lives shouldn't be held to ransom like this.

A little trick to elevate your cooking platform. Measure the diameter size of your table legs. Cur some PVC pipes that have a diameter suitably large enough to insert those table legs into the pipes high enough so that the table can rest on the tops of the pipes once cut to make your desired table top height, taking into account the resting point of the table on the top edge of the pipe. This trick can also be used to level off sleeping cots at a desired height to allow for under the cot storage for beds in a van build out. The PVC pipes just end up as lift supports. You could even add threaded sections for fine leveling adjustments on uneven surfaces. Let's see how that works out for you on your next video. Keep up your good work. Thanks!

Also have liquid Benadryl with you for use as a topical ointment and also to drink if your throat starts to swell .

I thought about doing this same thing. A utility trailer would mean i could haul my motorcycle around, but still have a dry, warm place to sleep. Nice simple sleeping arrangements, safe food storage. My wife however, wants something much more comfortable. Great idea. Did you do the work on the trailer yourself? Im not sure how youd find the time for it, given how busy you are with all your other projects. Next time you do burgers, try a little less salt, but use chilli powder instead ( which does have a high sodium content already), best way to make burgers.

To own an area so remote with a brilliant 'cabin' perched on the top of a mountain would just be a dream in the UK as the UK is literally too small and overcrowded. Also the aristocracy and gentry own more than 30% of the land so it is very much a rich mans country. That is why it is great watching these videos as American's seems to have a greater level of freedom in relation to nature.

You are lucky Luke. I go into shock and start swelling. My throat swells shut. Two pens and a box of benadryl will get me to the hospital. I got stung by yellow jackets when I was 16. I got sick and had to go to hospital. Never had trouble till then. Last sting was in the car with my dad about 15 years ago. Grabbed the pens and dad started driving like a man possessed. Got me to a hospital and saved my life. Just my hero saving me again. We lost daddy in 2020. I really want him back all the time but alas he is walking streets of gold with momma now. I am so glad you are not affected in this manner. Looked like super fun time and tasty meal.

It was pretty dry down there last spring/summer on the Appalachian Trail until early June - then the heavens opened up. New England was sodden from nearly continuous rain in August. An older man, who was a week ahead of me, drowned while trying to cross Stony Brook in New Hampshire. What a nice setup for a stay-put camping trip! Watch those bee stings! I'm allergic, too. Same symptoms. Three years ago I got stung on the cheek, and my face began to swell up. I didn't have an epipen, so I took some Benedryl and did fine. I was concerned when my neck began to swell, but the Benadryl took care of everything.

You may have heard this before, so I apologise if you have. An Eppi pen in the UK would cost you £9.90 or $12.52 per item, not $1,000. If you are unemployed, disabled or over 60, prescriptions are free. For a paramedic to visit you with an ambulance, in the UK, it costs you £0.00 per visit. Yes the system is under strain, but it is proof that paying as a collective, reduces costs.

I was allergic my whole life until I got stung in 2020. I immediately hit the stings with After Bite, and took a Benedryl. No effects from the sting! No swelling! Last summer I got stung 6 times: 2 from one wasp, 4 from another that went down my bra in back. I did the same treatment, and no swelling. My dad got stung twice and dropped dead. My mom revived him, thankfully.

It's been 90 to over 100F here for awhile already, can't wait for August... We have had a few rain episodes that helped in the short term but the humidity rose quickly, not good in the high desert. Nice overnight in the toy hauler Luke, quite cozy it seems. The power station and a box fan would have been nice outside😉 "Generic" is the word you were searching for, no worries. Thanks for the video and work, fun times.

I would erect a roof on poles that extends about 1 foot above the top of the trailer so the sun and rain never touched the top of the trailer. A breeze flowing between the roof and the top of the trailer would be nice as well, and keep the roof of the trailer from becoming super hot. I've seen many people do this and you'd be amazed at how much cooler the trailer would be, especially when you open the windows and have the air flowing inside the trailer as well. It would also keep the snow off the roof in the winter. Just a thought...

Actually, the "cabin" episode I want to see is Luke having to retreat there because of a leaky tent.😂😂😂

have you considered some sort of awning off the side or back of the trailer?

I use Redmi Note 10 Pro. This smartphone dont have OIS, EIS of HIS for camera but have "Steady Video" for basic stabilizer recording. The picture quality is satisfactory even though it is not as good as the Vivo phone and there is no signal problem.

I'm no therapist but you are right, freaking out isn't the best thing to do when you are in a bad situation. Though some people can't help it it's their personality, people are built differently.

Don't get me wrong, I like your channel. IM😮 Wondering why you call a small trailer a "CABIN"....however we call them trailers. Old school, a cabin was made from wood. Me being 60 in 2 days, you have a small trailer. I still like your videos regardless I'm old school. Sorry. Anywhere back to the video

Lmao, at your 27 degrees Celsius. I live in Western Australia & last summer we had 3 or 4 weeks where it was 40 + degrees Celsius. Then, at night, it dropped to 27-32 degrees Celsius which wasn't a lot of fun. Mind you if I had to live in 27 degrees Celsius with 100% humidity I wouldn't step out of the air-conditioning. I love your IGT. The one you got from Amazon looks amazing!!!! I'm thinking about getting something similar. Thanks once again for another awesome adventure.❤❤❤😁🇦🇺
