exactly in this sense. Revision= 15minutes or 15% work.

i need your help, i dont offer revisions but somehow fiverr still allows my clients to do so? and i dont have a choice to cancel them either. the worse part is the client wants a whole another output than what I given even tho I did all their requirements right in the first place :(

That's nice. Just started out on Fiverr in the same niche as you and I find your insights helpful! As a beginner I guess it's harder to do without revisions. How many revisions a new seller should put according to you? I read somewhere you love to beat your husband at chess. What's your favourite chess opening?😀
@carrieblogger
@carrieblogger 4 жыл бұрын
There are so many ways to do it. You have to think about the monetary value of what you’re offering (if someone really does take you up on the free unlimited revisions and you feel that your time is not fairly compensated, is that worth it?), how you want to compete (are very few of your competitors offering open revision policies?), what signal it sends to buyers about your professionalism (will this come across as a strong customer service focus or sloppy work that needs fixing?), and how many revisions your clients typically need (a lot? Always? That likely indicates a bigger issue.) I’m more of a board gamer than a chess player 😅 but I (like the entire world) bought a chess board after watching the queen’s gambit. I took a few chess theory classes as a kid, but now I just play it like a puzzle instead of following specific openings and moves.

Hi Carrie, great video - thank you for your honesty. I also feel revisions are an essential part of the Fiverr process. I was wondering if your change of heart might also have something to do with the fact that Fiverr is now asking buyers, after every older a "hidden question". About whether they feel they received "value for money" on their completed order. This question apparently now pops up for the buyer after every completed order. I found out about this from TRS Joel Young. He has a KZbin channel called "Fiverr Talks" - Nice nails by the way.
@carrieblogger
@carrieblogger 4 жыл бұрын
I totally respect Joel as a seller and fellow KZbinr, but I’m not interested in gaming the algorithm or playing the analytics game. Fiverr collects a lot of data for a lot of reasons. I don’t (personally) think that there are platform secrets... and it doesn’t really impact my business. I simply focus on delivering high value work on every order and making sure that every client is overwhelmingly satisfied. That has propelled my success all along. ✌🏻
@carrieblogger
@carrieblogger 4 жыл бұрын
Also, I should mention - buyers have been filling out internal quality/value surveys on Fiverr *literally for years*, so this is nothing new.

Have you tried improving your value and credibility in OTHER areas? It’s all a balancing act, so if prospective clients were already on the fence about even reaching out at all and you take away revisions, then yeah - you lost the sale. If you would LOVE to not offer revisions then it’s up to you to create another, better reason to trust and hire you. Improve your pitch!

Hey, after becoming Level one on Fiverr, I'm not getting orders, impressions, and clicks! What's that? My gig goes to the last page. Before level one, it was high in the ranking, on the first page. So frustrating! Can you tell me what's the matter, and how to overcome it? Thank you!

Impressions will fluctuate - that’s normal. It’s not finite. Just be patient and take this time to tick off your to-do tasks that you’ve been to busy to tackle. Check out this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZCrYnmifamirJI

I have a question! do you think it's a red flag if a buyer calls me to tell me he can pay me outside of Fiverr? I don't understand what the incentive for a buyer to pay outside of Fiverr would be, is he planning to scam me? he seemed professional though (we talked over the phone)
@carrieblogger

They’re trying to get out of paying the platform’s fees. Honestly, tell them *on Fiverr* that all communication has to go through Fiverr. And if they ask again, block them. That can get your account suspended.

I was referring to $15 for up to 15 minutes of changes after delivery. I agree that it’s reasonable for a rate, but tacking $15 onto an order that costs several hundred dollars started to feel a bit petty. I think it’s working out better to wrap it into the price of the gig overall. 👍🏻
