No Right or Wrong: Getting Started and special stitches

The NO RIGHT OR WRONG pattern by BebaBlanket has been created using a two-sided overlay mosaic crochet technique which creates the pattern from both sides. Using this pattern, you can create as large a project as you want by working as many repeats as you want in width and/or in height. The pattern includes both designs in the regular overlay mosaic crochet technique as well.

I was thinking the same thing, and am going to try it. I hate cutting yarn; seems like such a waste.

@@janegetman7573 Cutting yarn is essential in this particular technique. You can cut them shorter if you want. I hide the cut tails in an envelop edging. The nice part of this is if you need to correct a row (and i have in the past!!), you can pull out one row and fix it if you haven't gone too far into the next row. Very convenient.

Hi, what was the criteria or reason for the Adc? I wanted to use this technique on another mosaic but wasn’t sure when I would know to do Adc Thanks! It’s brilliant!!

In this pattern it makes a totally reversible project. No front or back side

@@hookedbytj hi, I understand that. Sometimes you require a dc two rows down, in single or double front loop, and sometimes you require an Adc - anchored dc. What I’m trying to understand is why the anchored double crochet? What is the purpose, i.e. why not just a regular dc?

Because it grabs the extra loop from behind so it is truly a reversible pattern. Otherwise when you’re working back loop or front loop the unused loop shows on the other side

Hello, I have one question. Can this technique (sc in front loop, and turning the work) be apllied for every overlay mosaic pattern, or just for this one?

@@merlinka01 this pattern is specifically written by designer so the design shows as reverse on back. So I don’t think it can be applied to all overlay
