in the early 90's was just in my 20's walking about the city looking for cans and bottles to take for an earn I was in the side alley to the right of the entrance Alberta St going through bins and the emergency exit to this building was blocked open for smokers. I walked in, up the stairs and came out in a hallway, had no idea it was a cop building, walked past all these offices, people in suits and dresses moving about, nobody said a word, went to the loo, went into a lunch room and grabbed some free choc chip cookies and took a cup of coffee, checked out the fridge that was choc full of grog, a crown in uniform came into the lunch room which made me pucker so tight I coulda cut split rings, as I was leaving he eye balled me as I passed him casually and headed back the way I entered. I took the stairs 3 at a time to get outa there. When I got back out the side exit and came around past the front I seen it was the NSW Police Avery building and made a very strong mental note that I just avoided a pinch and to never ever go back there again.

@@JBSbass Yes, it’s really the way of the streets, isn’t it.. Sydney (especially the Cross) were my haunts back in the late 70’s-early 80’s.. Streetkids like us were wise to stay out the way of the jacks, considering that homelessness (particularly for youth) was deemed an offence for which we were sent to any number of various juvenile detention centres (under the charge of ‘uncontrollable’) which was actually not so bad (depending where you’re going)..you know, 3 meals and a bed was a little luxury for the first few days… before you start to itch for your freedom again, that is..

Went to Summernats, Canberra , this year, jan 2024, i couldn't get accommodation, and I don't do online transactions involving hundreds of dollars anyway. Might go early 2025 , as well , I knew the a.c.t., would have federal tyrants , within minutes of arriving in Canberra, I saw tyrants harrassing a guy , i avoided them during my two day stay, i actually saw none inside at the nats , lucky me , just two patrol cars outside. Due to my lack of accom i had to camp out somewhere, private security asked me to move on , when i explained to him, what I was up to and why, he told me to get some rest and to move by morning , even showed me a place to charge my phone . He hated a f.p. he'd had some dealings with them, including the protective services guards, and had nothing good. To say about any of them! ☠️🙂🤔

I wonder who the grifting security company was that installed the 423 cameras just on the front of the building. They would've made a motza 💲💲💲

Closer to Liverpool St you will see that there are a number of parking spaces that only police vehicles can park in. Despite that police association vehicles park there as if they are also police vehicles. They never get ticketed. That would be a good audit, especially if you catch a Highway Patrol officer who refuses to take action, even when this is pointed out to them. I have twice spoken to the Highway Patrol about it and nothing is done. I have also spoken to council rangers about it and they equivocate and ultimately do nothing.
