I think click but no full crank is a special case. Could be a bad connection, dead battery, engine locked up etc.

My daughter's 2007 Chrysler 300 left her in a Target parking lot. No crank. I thought it was the battery and tried to jump her off. Not the battery. The key still had all the "detents". I discovered if I waited about 10 seconds from the second detent to actually cranking the car , it would start! I changed the ignition actuator and the ignition switch and noticed that neither was broken. I still put the new parts on. When I put everything back on it still does the same thing just more intermittently. If she waits that 10 seconds before cranking it though, it never fails to start. I've seen other people slapping the panel below the ignition switch while cranking fixes their problem. Is it possible that the cable connected to the SCIM is sticky and needs to be lubricated?

"eee eeee eeee eeee " = crank or turn over Yes ! I've had ppl call me & say " it cranks but won't turn over" which are essentially the same thing. I guess "turn over " means the engine going round & round for some 😁

Hey 👋🏽 I'm trying to find out how to remove the silver plate (tap, cover) or whatever is the name to get that pin on my 2015 Chevrolet Traverse but it doesn't have any screws at all so I'm guessing I'll just have to pull the sections one by one that have like this little tiny spots to open it. @@carlosfernandez325 Ok bud, because your red led security light on, that makes this a SKIM problem. Yo may end up needing a security skim module but you have no way to tell unless you have a scan tool that can get into it. Either way this may not be a DIY job because it has to be programmed to your car. The dealer have your security code.

Im not sure what details you here for but this how I do/make videos. I focus on what needs to be said and I simply spend the time to say it. You likely should maybe slow down and listen and see where that get you. You may be surprised or hear something you needed to hear.
