On my 550 lite, Built my own wiring harness. I’m having an issue calibrating TPS. Once I hit calibrate. TPS reads 100%. Once I moved the white input. I was then able to get it to drop to .5-0.49. I then accelerate n its jumps to 5.00v like normal. Injectors would fire except for #3. Switched for a #1 inj plug. N the #3 inj still only fires. I then moved the Blue outputs to the B plug, outputs socket #9 or so. Test it I could hear fuel spray but not click if that makes sense. Then I put the blue in the normal socket n the #1 injector started to function normally along with my #3 that was working previously. Did that same procedure for the rest n all inj worked properly. After getting the TPS n injectors to function. I did some where the tune didn’t save nothing. So now I have to build a new map. The TPS reads 100% again n my injectors don’t work once tested in the output page. Now I have to do all that moving wires again. Or is my ecu defective? Also my Fuel psi isn’t reading oil psi is reading fine. Switch plugs n I was able to see accurate Fuel psi to my gauge. N of course no oil psi. Ppl tell me the wiring is backwards or sum silly. If that’s the case why did they function after moving certain wires? Never had to mess with a plug in the engine bay. Only moved specific wires on the ecu side. I need help lol btw I have body to engine grounds strapped. Tested sensors for 5v like tps, oil psi, etc. injectors n ign coils had 12 and ground. I checked the wiring multiple times

Timing light comment funny because I mainly use it to setup ignition off-sets and delay on these systems.

Another great video Broomy. I hope you end up keeping the Clevo.
@BroomysGarage4 жыл бұрын
I will do a video on this soon. If you go back a year ago on fullboost, we already stated that the clevo with the diff ratio needs an overdrive gear in the gearbox. There just are not any economical options for this when you compare it to other options (such as buying an entire BA falcon for instance and getting the Barra and BTR from it for only $500). I like the clevo, but it’s also a noiser, rattler, old school engine, and a more modern engine will make for a better long haul driving experience. Have to put it out to the viewers to give me some ideas, however silly suggestions like ‘put a gear vendors on it’ like some originally suggested is ludicrous @ around $3000+ it ain’t happening. I’ve looked for over drive trans for a clevo, and from what I can see the AOD which has a rubbish reputation, is expensive and hard to find, is almost the only option.

Do you have any more fueltech videos. Thank you for the information man. I'm in PA or I would go to the seminar they hold. Wish they had online training.

What kind of videos are you looking for ? There are other racing videos that go through the data side of the fueltech

@Broomy's Garage I need everything lol... I have a 12v vr6 swapped vw cabriolet runs and drives but getting things ready for a turbo. Going with a fueltech 450 received it today. Not many have done this if any. So we will see I'm sure I can figure out the wiring but tuning another story no clue.

thank you for the video, it is great. i have a question i am afraid to ask. how the heck does the multiplier work? I want to add say 12% to the fuel. i can not get it for the life of me
@BroomysGarage6 ай бұрын
Select the cells you want to multiply. Press M (for multiple). % is based on 1. 1.00 = 0%. 1.12 = +12%. 0.88 = -12%.

There are more videos here relating to data and tuning with my rx7. Any video thumbnail you see with the laptop screen normally means I am going over the tune and data of what we did at the race track.

4:47 petrol (petroleum, crude oil), the term "gas" short for gasoline makes more sense. who puts crude oil in their fuel tanks that doesn't use a diesel? some may say the term "gas" could be confused with natural gas, who drives a road legal vehicle that uses natural gas? it's all about CONTEXT. rant over 😁
@BroomysGarage2 жыл бұрын
In Australia many many cars run on LPG, liquified petroleum GAS. It is essentially 50/50 mix of propane and butane, and it is what every Australian refers to as gas, as it enters the engine as a gas. Plenty of buses also have been converted to run on LNG here as well (natural gas). So who drives a car that runs on actual gas??? Australian’s 😎
