I hope you don't take this the wrong way, I absolutely love your cover. Noah's version makes me remember my first heartbreak when I felt everything was falling apart and things would never feel the same. Your version makes me imagine a woman that's put in so much effort into a marriage and realizing it's over. Very much like Jolene by Dolly. There's something so "tired" the way you sing this, in the best way possible. It's like you're exhausted from trying so hard and finally just let the relationship go. You don't know what comes next, you don't know what life has in store for you, but you know you fought as hard as you can and the only relief you can get is by simply letting them go. Does that make sense? I applaud this cover and absolutely love your take on it.

I agree, seeing someone of a different age just shows how many different ways the lyrics of a song can be percieved. People often relate song lyrics to their own lives when it means something completely different to the singer/songwriter.
