Noal Farm

Жыл бұрын

Asparagus is one of the first plants that greets us in springtime! It’s a perennial, which means that once it gets established, the tender spears will return year after year.
Asparagus can be grown in most temperate regions, but grows more robustly in cooler areas with long winters. The edible part of the asparagus plant is the young stem shoot, which emerges as soil temperatures rise above 50°F (10°C) in spring.

Sure makes you wonder how they make a profit in the end. With all those expenses in just the farming portion of their business, they must be extremely good at running the accounting portion. I'm also sceptical about the modern equipment being more cost effective than the manual laborers. Machinery like that tends to cost a fortune and breaks down alot. The harvesting laborers would be my pick if it was my business. Great video. Thanks.
