Isn't that true for everyone? The problem is that the notion of land ownership is a subjective reality, one that is not necessarily universally shared. Where a nation acts contrarily to a "relevant international institution", is setting themselves up for a conflict with a majority. The only *objective* reality here is the risk of war, not land ownership.

He doesn't keep it sharp, he just repeats what he learned 70 years ago. Over the years, archaeologists have made many discoveries. Coins and ancient Jewish manuscripts were found. He wants to ignore it, he has the right. But the Jews have the right to this land. The Arabs have not wanted to listen or acknowledge this since the 19th century. He may also want to exonerate Mohammed Amin al-Husseini for his meeting with Hitler. When meeting with Adolf Hitler, he asked for support for Arab independence and support in opposing the creation of a Jewish national home in Palestine. Well done! In general, Chomsky is an anarchist and an opponent of any state.

I find THAT more of a mystery than the Bermuda Triangle or a unified theory of relativity. Having weaponised them, all the Zionists in Israel had to do was throw accusations of "antisemitism" or invoke the WW2 holocaust, and everyone freezes in silence, looks the other way, or flees in terror. WHY??!!?!? I know it's a psychological tactic they employ to silence dissent, and the accusations & slurs are without base or validity, so why would or should it worry or deter me in the slightest? They can shove their BS. Although with Zionist Israel having revealed it's TRUE nature and capacity for atrocities over the last 75 years of illegal occupation, ethnic cleansing, apartheid, displacement, persecution, humiliation, & genocide in Palestine and of Palestinians, culminating in the brutal, barbaric, indiscriminate wholesale campaign of extermination it has openly, shamelessly, unapologetically waged in Gaza since last Oct 7th, under the gaze of the entire world, AND having stretched the definition of the "crime of antisemitism" to such absurd lengths, as to make ANY & ALL criticism of Israeli government policies & actions a criminal offence, these accusations no longer have any meaning, and any sympathy Israel once had in the international community is evaporating faster than it's credibility.

Actually, Professor Chomsky has stayed consistently wrong on the topic of Israeli/ Palestinian conflict. From the year 636 to 1947 not a single square foot of Israeli land was stolen by Israel. In 1947 the 1st 2 state solution was arranged by UN, Israelis said yes and the Arabis said no, then started a war to eliminate the Jews that very morning. The history of the land of Israel is probably the most documented land on the planet. Other than the Bible there are thousands of books from the last 3000 years that write about the Jews and Israel, archaeological digs of Jewish coins, Jewish texts, Jewish artifacts but there isn't a single book or any archeological evidence that point to the Palestinian people. The UN should phase UNRWA in with UNHCR because Palestinian Arabs are no different than any other refugee. Why would anyone posit that they are? After reading Noam chomsky's 'On Anarchism', I can guess why the UN hasn't done this. After all, elites are experts in creating divisiveness and having UNRWA treating Palestinian Arabs differently than any other refugee in the world does that because it helps portray Israel as a rogue inhumane country that refuses to solve a tragic refugee crisis..

General belief in the 1950/60s was that news departments did not make money. The success of the CBS news program 60 Minutes changed that. The other factor is the dumbing down of the American population. Reminds of Bradbury's novel Fahrenheit 451. Make a society where people do not think or question. It makes life easier for the rich and powerful. Thank God for Dr Chomsky. May he live long.@gerrydonohoe

Egypt, Jordan and Syria initiated a war on Israel, with the clear intent to wipe them off the map at 1967. Israel miraculously won that war within 6 days, liberating Jewish biblical sites. The only countries who can have any claim for Judea and Samaria, or Gaza are Egypt and Jordan, and they both pulled out, signed treaties with Israel disconnecting themselves from those territories. So who exactly are the people claiming this land. The Arabs living there which never had a state? The clowns of the UN which criticize Israel 100 times a year and seldom criticize countries which regularly violate human rights such as China, Russia and Syria.

It's because Propaganda is all about taking things out of context, leaving out crucial details, and only relaying juicy parts of the story to the masses. Jewish history provides all sorts of explanatory records in their own regions and territories which date back up to 3,000 years ago. And Chomsky just dismisses it like they made up their whole stance without providing any sort of real information that brought him to such a ridiculous conclusion. It's crazy seeing this comment section will blindly follow and praise such ignorance.

Chomsky was a ground-breaking linguist in the 1960s and 70s, but it seems he didn't get that much attention until he joined student protests against the Vietnam War.
