rue. that said, it's a drop in the bucket compared to the ocean of drivel surrounding him and the relative few like him, whence the attraction.

My opinion is that research information should not be hidden, more minds mean faster discoveries. There is an argument to be made that the greatest benefit to science lately was the invention of the internet. Just looking at my facebook feed and seeing how fast sciences advance now keeps me astounded on a weekly basis.

Electricity was first discovered as a magic trick (static electricity and left in light objects). Then Franklin did his Frankenstein-ian experiment to tie that phenomenon with thunder and muscle movement. Later came Maxwell with his insightful equation. Then came the physics of light and Einstein. Then QM. So what is Gravity? :) with a capital G! The force behind the Dark stuff in the universe.

Not really. Chomsky has a breadth and depth of knowledge and interests that is unmatched by most intellectuals in this day since they have to stay hyper specialized to be competitive within their domains. It's really no surprise he can see the underlying context and navigate the delicate nuances.

We need to synthesize religion, science, and philosophy. The secret doctrine and the urantia book are two volumes in the same series of cosmic knowledge. We need to read between the lines.
