Dang, if these aren't some of the best tones you've gotten out of your Plexi... I might be investing in a ODR-1 mini here pretty soon after this video. Awesome review, as always!

Thanks! Yeah, I decided to keep the pedal. At least for the time being.

I only recently heard about this pedal. Around when Wampler made a pedal to sound similar, but with his own touch. Honestly, it may be my third favorite OD behind a TS and Yngwie's (which I wish I could find anywhere for a reasonable price). It was great to hear you jam with it. It really kind of pulls those bluesy riffs out of you, until you hit that hot, full gain shred mode

Elmo, I really enjoy your channel and I'm wondering if you could do a review of the NUX mg300. I just bought one, think that it's pretty damn good for the price $220au so probably around 130euros?? idk the exchange rate. The ir's are danged good, the cab and mic sims are really close for the $$ and it wouldn't break you at all to review it. Maybe you've already thought about it and decided against it seeing as it came out mid 2020 so it's not new but as I say, for the price it's better than anything that I've tried and it's replaced my pedal board almost entirely. I really like your channel and would also love to see part II of "Bring on the hate" - that was hysterical, haha. Keep plucking man, Mark, from Australia.

I thought about tube screamer for blues-rock stuff and some heavier overdrive for a little bit heavier stuff. This odr sounds like it will do both extremely well :) and it has its mini version also. Thanks for this review

I've been sold on this pedal for awhile now. I've heard comparisons with several boutique pedals over 200 bucks. Also comparisons to the Nobels micro pedal to the original. Only subtle differences. And less than 100 bucks also. Although most vids I've seen were played through Fenders. When you shredded through the Marshall it was more of a darker tone. ( hence the Nashville sound) but will say...those Malmsteen licks wasn't far off from other pedals you use. I'm taking the plunge. On another note. There's always that one sum bitch with the thumbs down. Always that one

@OgamiItto704 жыл бұрын
"You have TWO plexis. Why do u need that?" The number of Plexi's needed is N+1, where N is equal to the current number of Plexi's owned. With Plexi's, you turn them up and you get a real good Marshall overdrive sound. Put an overdrive/boost pedal in front of a cranking Plexi and it gets _even better._

It sounds ok. Nothing to write ho km e about at least over my phone. I know a good guitarists from Chili that swears by his and other pedals from Nobel. I've never tried one. I just watched your friedman pedal review and it had better tone if you ask me. Just my 2 cents though. What do I know. 😂🤟 .. I almost always want my gain from the amp and use my volume knob. Then add delay and maybe a tiny tiny bit of chorus to fatten up the sound. Wanting to try the TC mimiq I think its called which gives you a second harmony guitar with your original as if two guitar players are playing the same thing. Over dubbing, but with built in small differences to mimiq a real person playing the second guitar evidently. I also want to try the boss synth pedal for fun and games. . Thanks brother for doing these reviews. Hope everyone there is well. Be safe my friend!

pedals/ human minds are so funny, I have this pedal2x, just about selling one , now not, definately selling my Dude and HRM, jus t too rocky for me, bits and pieces make life / gtr tone one`s own, art is too long or lifes too short, OR: both? Im finding out that gtr pedals have nature like guitars and amps, the transparency ..., youre funny with this Natural Overdrive, I mean whats natural with a guitar overdrive: ha!: the guitarist!!!!!!! IF I would buld a guitar/amp/pedal I would name them CHARACTER, because: having not built guitar/amp/pedal has built: Character... in the case of me...Ive played these coupla days m y pedals and found out that the Dude and HRM are not for me, THE MAD Prof Simble stays as my number one, and surprisingly instead of the sold TCEL mojomojo the Tone City Sweet Cream is now second in line!!
