when i create my character in any game i never get struck with the thought "i need to deeply analyze why the body types are labeled this way". The obsession over the words "male" and in particular "female" is so fucking strange to me, what makes you so insecure that you need to constantly try and hold the line against an imaginary enemy to the point where you're finding issues in anything that could even slightly be a nice gesture towards those you dislike.

If you think about it, you already have that, it's the wireframe around which all the moves are programed. The A/B split is just the first customization path diversion

It honestly would not be that difficult to create this. There are already ways to morph between shapes and textures. Fallout 4 did lots of these basic things ages ago, and I’m sure others before that.

Here both ends of this are really dumb. Trans people make up 1-2% of people so it’s rather silly to include these kinds of options as the norm. It would honestly make more sense if in the options and accessibility page would have an option to turn off gender names for those who have gender dysmorphia. We don’t include colorblind options as the default. Those are an option that can be turned on because a tiny population is colorblind but yet we still include that feature for them. People are right to call out the virtue signaling for trans people. While they are real and their troubles also real they are taking up a massive amount of public discourse and consideration versus how much of the population they represent and the damage done to them by being ignored. When you compare their plights to the plights of other disabled or marginalized groups, the attention and adaptations being made around them are wildly disproportionate.
