What happened was Ed had to fight Matthew (when Matt was escaping) and Ed was nearly killed (see his low green HP bar) so after Ed woke up from his injuries he continued the fight and murdered Matthew.

@@steelmyr1485 I'm currently watching a twitch VOD of cringer playing it, and there are some idiosyncrasies that I can see causing a lot of problems in gameplay, or just strange design decisions (skills level up at random, the odd date format) but for early access, there's time to fix what needs to be fixed and add explanations for things that don't but are confusing. It looks pretty cool to me, just needs a bit more time in the oven.

I like the overall aesthetic for the environment, less convinced by the look of characters. The morality system is interesting, I hope it gets develop further for maybe some specialisation/restrictions on diplomacy or maybe research and technologies ? I'll be keeping an eye on for it, thanks Splatt'

When selecting the crop for the farm, it listed what level of farming is required. The Meal Bean was level 3 and was marked in red (probably because no one had that level yet).

@@folk20310 It is always interesting to follow the "family tree" of game influence. There's been a lot more based off Rimworld the past few years lately. But Rimworld has definitely gone on enough that it has carved an identity. The character dialog is definitely DF inspired as Rimworld hasn't touched that and character relations and history is very bare.

I've never understood why people lay out their bases/cities like they do. . Yeah, technically it doesn't matter in terms of the overt game mechanics where you put anything...but your people still take time to walk to and from any two points. The shorter and more efficient those paths are, the better your productivity will be. It's the difference between getting 10 units of resources every 20 seconds versus getting 10 units of resources every 10 to 15 seconds. Over an hour's worth of gameplay, that's a huge difference.
