Honestly, noble six alone could probably take on bad batch. In lore he was rated hyper lethal just like master chief. As child MC was chosen to be part of the spartan program because to the scientists who gauged him, it was if he had measurable luck. He basically blew their minds with how he seemed to get things right in situations where he shouldn't have. The primary example is Halsey tested him with a coin toss, which he got right every single time. What they didn't know (at least not at the time) is that MC's mind was naturally fast and perceptive enough that he could count how many times the coin flipped from the time it was tossed till the time it landed. That's basically crosshair level focus, if not better. And he was like 5 or 6 at the time. The reason the master chief seemed to have consistent luck wasn't because he was actually lucky, but because he trained that reaction speed to such a degree that he was able to make split second decisions like no one else. What does a situation where seconds matter mean to a guy who can make decisions in milliseconds? When you can react that fast and perceive that much, you can spot opportunities and openings invisible to others. It can honestly seem like you're doing the impossible. Like luck is on your side. Now technically speaking, there is no guarantee that noble six got his hyper lethal rating for the same reasons. But he still got that rating somehow, and they were the only two who had it. Noble six may have had a reaction speed to rival master chief.

In canon, Noble 6 is described by Halsey as “Hyperlethal”. The only other spartan given that description is Master Chief. It’s canon that Noble 6 (not Tom) was a match for Master Chief in almost every regard, despite being a Spartan 3 to Chiefs Spartan 2. He’s also been given the moniker of “Lone Wolf”, because he’s so skilled he was regularly sent on high threat solo missions to take down anything from insurgent bases, and then in Reach he’s taken down the ELITE of the Covenant. He’s also been given the moniker of headhunter as well because of how many kills he’s racked up, along with some of the other things he’s done. He was chosen to be a Headhunter by the way because he was more lethal than his normal Spartan 3 counterparts. Headhunters are given better armour and better training as well.

The only notes in his biography prior to joining Noble Team dealt with killing Insurrectionists and other rebel groups. Doing this with his knowledge on the Sabre Program on Mamore is what led Col. Holland to select him for Noble following Thom’s death. Six was recruited to kill the Covenant but, from what info we’ve been given, that isn’t what he spent most of his career doing. Also, tell me when Chief “wiped out an entire army” on his own prior to the games since, given when Halsey talked about Noble, none of those events had happened yet. @Zenek7274 Жыл бұрын
I think the big draw is how the teams are portrayed. In a actual conflict, both are supposed to be tactical masterminds and incredible soldiers, but the Bad Batch just acts like traditional "run in guns blazing'" comic heroes, and Noble would certainly find some sort of tangible advantage. This, in my opinion, is why Noble could win easily.
@dfcd1432 Жыл бұрын
Biggest reason there is the enemy they were "bred" to fight. One side is an unlimited supply of stupid battle droids vs an incredibly intelligent, more sophisticated and very tactically competent alien race. Also for entirely different reasons. no bad batch has no chance. a single noble taam could take the whole team. A spartand three has jedi esc reaction times and is basically a cyborg, with computer reaction spead. One punch, sheilds, super fast, jump super high, lift a tank, punch like heck, heal, hack weapons (not needed). it would be like fighting an anime character. You would get wrecked. You can only take so many gee forces, so the armor would mean nothing. Someone in Mandalorian steel would get knocked up really hard or just nocked out. Even cortosis. Let's say cortosis handles shocks and lets concussive force through while cortosus does frickery with the concussive force and protects the user. Well in both cases, you still have to handle gee forces. A spartan could punch or even whip slap. And do not under estimate not actually punching, as other forms of hitting can do more damage and convey more force than punching (plaming more force for example) and do damage, but they could alospunch so hard and so fast that the person gets lifted up into the air in a matter of less than a second and goes flying and smashes into the grown ubruptly ending their movement in mere milliseconds. remember, these guys are super fast and can lift a warthog. so if you got punch, they are lifting and flipping a humvee of 5400 lbs into the air in like a second. if they punch in a fraction of a second, your two hundred pounds are hardly slowing that punch down. Think about it, a Humvee gets tossed with enough force to jostle a spartan's neural interface, killing him/ her. If you get punched, you .... -------let's say, a spartan can punch in a tenth of a second, covering five feet. he's laying into you and moving, not just extending his arm. this means 50 feet a second.15.24 meters a second, that is only less than two gees, that's fine, but coming to a sudden stop at 34 miles s an hour, in a moment? that is going to hurt very bad. considering a normal, unaugmented, not in a robotic suite human can punch 30-35 mph on average and fastest is 45, miles per hour, I would not be surprised if a spartan could punch at merely two gees worth of speed, or less fast fast than a bullet by far. The second you hit a wall, you are going to get crushed by your momentum. the problem with a sudden stop. even getting hit by a 34 mile an hour semi would hurt. even in armor. nut let's saw a spartan can punch at a hundred miles an hour. You are now flying a hundred miles and hour, you hit the wall. I don't care what armor you are wearing. batman is hurt. Bane is hurt. Even just a little. But these are fusion powered punches. There practically unlimited of these. Your getting punched again. Hell, you could could properly thrown too.

I'd say Noble team wins almost every engagement with only the most pyrrhic of victories given to the Bad Batch, if they win at all.
@SpiritoftheWolf28232 Жыл бұрын
I have to disagree with the notion that Noble 6 could solo the whole of the Bad Batch. Please allow me to copy/paste a likely scenario I wrote elsewhere in the comments. 6 is incredibly skilled, but not enough to take down the Bad Batch I don't think. Not on their own. Sure 6 wiped out entire armies of normal human insurgents as a headhunter for ONI, but even considering ONI could get a full rundown on each of the Bad Batch members, their unorthodox methods combined with unique superhuman skills create too much of an X-Factor to be able to reduce any encounter to a series of if-thens. (eta the following scenario assumes ONI has no intel on the Bad Batch other than their team size and apparent roles in the squad) Most scenarios would start with 6 stalking and ambushing the Bad Batch. One member, likely Crosshair as the obvious designated marksman, would die instantly or at least be heavily incapacitated and the Bad Batch would scatter. 6 would maintain stealth as long as possible and probably get at least one more shot in before Hunter catches on to the Spartan Armor's electronic signature with his sixth sense. Grenades fly in, lobbed by Wrecker for distance, and 6 has to break cover. 6 gets caught in pressure wave, and BB starts firing from their positions. Their DC-17 weapons won't fully break the shield, but Omega's energy bow would due to its power output and piercing capabilities. 6 makes for more cover, and when is spotted again thanks to Hunter, their shield has regened. This information is relayed to Tech who gets Echo and Hunter to attempt to catch 6 with Ion Grenades. If Crosshair survives, he'll be trying to line up a shot on 6 for when the Ion Grenades hopefully break the shield again. If Crosshair is dead they'll have to rely on Omega with Wrecker running distraction to give her a clear shot. Either way, sadly, the sniper IS dying in this maneuver. 6 will recognize the gambit after the Ion Grenades short the shield and will quickscope Crosshair/Omega, but will take a nasty shot in return. Let's say Crosshair was already dead and now 6 has killed Omega. The Bad Batch is now desperate and angry. Wrecker will charge in with Hunter and Echo close behind to try and back him up. Stop him, if possible. But with two members dead, Wrecker won't be reasoned with. An injured 6 will attempt to draw a bead and let off a few rounds with the BR, but Wrecker will be doing the same with his DC-17m. Wrecker will get in close and knock the BR away while drawing his vibroknife, forcing 6 to draw their own CC blade. Wrecker will attempt to overpower, only to be held back by a significantly smaller person with relatively evenly matched strength. This feat alone will cause both Echo and Hunter to hesitate. Tech, seething, will begin to include this new fact into his analysis and conclude that the strength is likely due to the powered Spartan armor. Wrecker and 6 will break the grapple and Wrecker will go back on the offensive. A vicious bout of CQC will ensue with both Hunter and Echo unable to get clear shots. 6 will eventually attempt to parry with their combat knife only for Wrecker's vibroknife to cut through it like butter. 6 will adapt. They always do. But they will take a few nasty cuts from the vibroknife before the energy shields fully recharge. When they do, 6 will take advantage and wrestle away Wrecker's vibroknife, stabbing Wrecker in the gut, followed by the left shoulder, and lastly attempting to sever wreckers neck vertebrae. Wrecker won't let that happen easily. And he weighs a lot. Wrecker will sacrifice himself by full-body tackling 6 to the ground and taking a lethal blow, severing his spine in the process. But not before he armed an Ion Grenade. The grenade goes off point blank, not only destroying 6's energy shield, but actually doing some decent damage to the electrical systems within, forcing 6 to remove their helmet as it's now more of a hinderance. Echo will unleash a barrage of shots with his blaster pistol, suppressing 6 and starting to do some damage without the energy shields being up. 6 will go for their sidearm and loose a few shots of their own, clipping Echo's shoulder with the prosthetic arm and landing a gut shot that pierces Echo's armor. The magnum at close- to mid-range is no joke. You can kill hunter's with that thing, you know? However, 6 will be distracted, hurt, and open. Hunter will leap in from behind, disarming 6 with a kick to the wrist and driving his own vibroknife through 6's head. The scenario ends with Crosshair, Omega, and Wrecker dead. Tech is distraught, Hunter is crying, and Echo is badly injured but will survive.

It should be noted that S-IIIs that were separated from the general population were considered CAT2 - that is to say, they took to their augmentations and performed at a level comparable to if not outright surpassing the II class, and in Kurt’s own words were “ones she would have chosen”, referring to Halsey. In other words, had they existed during the II program they would’ve been conscripted as well. A common misconception about the III program was the idea that they were inferior to the IIs in every way when the opposite was the truth. You had wider variation when it came to ability and augmentation results due to the less stringent genetic screening but those who had the same markers as the IIs almost invariably outperformed their predecessors due to advancements in the augmentation and training process, many of those changes explicitly made to address failings in the II program. Even those who weren’t designated as CAT2 were a cut above the rest, with Fred-104 explicitly saying that the Gamma company Spartans he worked with on Gao were THE most lethal Spartans he’d ever seen. Also, I think the speed advantage figures in a bit more than stated - strong as Wrecker is I don’t think it’d have mattered in hand to hand. People do not comprehend just how fast Spartans are - in the time a normal human sees something and processes what they saw a Spartan has already done the same and started to move. Elites trying to fight even normal S-IIIs in close quarters with energy swords were not only losing those fights to unarmed opponents but having their weapons commandeered, and it got bad enough that Sangheili - let me reiterate, /Sangheili/, the proud warrior race - were abandoning fortified positions just to avoid having to fight SPI clad S-IIIs up close in hand to hand combat. Given that and how slow Wrecker has been shown I do not see him being a credible threat in close quarters, much as it pains me to say it.

Another point in favor for the Spartans that I don't think you thought of is the projectile speed, bullets travel at least at the speed of sound but blaster bolts don't even break 70mph
@greasus5402 Жыл бұрын
A single spartan from Noble team can definitely wipe the floor with the Bad Batch. Blaster bolts travel at roughly 70mph, which is roughly as fast as plasma bolts that we can produce now. Granted technology in Star Wars is far more advanced. It's more realiable to gauge speeds off of tangible facts we know. Humans even those in highschool can easily dodge an object that speed and even in star wars lots of normal people dodge blaster bolts with ease so it's far reasonable to say that blaster bolts would be traveling around 70mph and given Spartans enhanced reflexes and perception a blaster bolt would be super easy to dodge as the phenomenon known as spartan time which refers to the altered perception Spartans have which makes everything around them seemingly move slower further making a 70mph projectile seem slower making it far more easy to dodge or anticipate. All of noble teams' weapons travel faster than the speed of sound and can't be dodged by the bad batch rendering any normal battle an easy win for noble team as you stated. Game mechanics for headshots aside a spartan would most definitely be able to tank several hits to their shields even from Crosshairs sniper rifle making him basically useless as firing would give his position away to Jun who would instantly take him out no matter what fancy tricks he pulled. Every member of Noble team is faster in reaction time and movement speed than any bad batch member, so fist fights are easy Ws for Noble team. Again, shield strength would make a surprise attack, pointless unless the bad batch pulled the heaviest explosives available which they dont have access to, and even then, Nobles reaction to a threat would end quickly with bad batch getting taken out. Now throw Droid poppers into the mix and you still 5 spartan 3s and a spartan 2 fully decked in super strong armor that can shrug off a few plasma shots easy then immediately turn and open fire with pinpoint accuracy. MJOLNIR armor completely negates recoil as well as the Spartans' own strength regardless of what the games portray, so pinpoint accuracy and devastating combat effectiveness would render the bad batch defeated in every circumstance. No matter the tactics, the bad batch just can't hold a candle any member of Noble team. Yes, I'm aware that Droid poppers emit and EMP but so did the field around the spire that Jorge and Noble 6 took down with no adverse effect to their armor or even shields.

First: Love these videos!!! Second: I think you have to give a bit more credit to the bad batch in terms of equipment and Wreckers strength feats. In the Republic Commando novels the Katarn Armour(once upgraded) can take Verp rounds without taking any real damage. And those are basically mini railguns. Also I think it was Fi who jumped on a bomb to protect others and his Armour didn't even had a crack. So it is hard for noble team to defeat that with just ballistic weapons and grenades. And now to Wrecker. He wrestled a fucking Rancor and that feat where he hold up that droids leg as mentioned in the video, I think puts him above the Spartans in strength. Still think noble team wins over all because of training and reaction speed
@mhm35 Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, the Katarn armor used in The Sad Batch show is about as effective as standard issue clone trooper armor (when Cad Bane downed Hunter with one shot). The Republic Commando novels are irrelevent, because they feature competent special ops units with actual tactics and actual equipment, which The Bad Batch lacks significantly. Which leads to a rebuttal against Wrecker, who is strong, and little else. It's like having a trained chimp on your squad. Yes, it's extremely ferocious and strong, but that's hardly a tactical advantage when it's far less intelligent and cooperative relative to the rest of the unit. We've already seen that Wrecker charges recklessly into engagements without consideration to a plan or how his actions can compromise the effectiveness of his unit. I know Disney routinely shows this to have no effect on their missions, but the reality is, Wrecker would've been dead before we even met him in TCW Season 7 if we're to logically examine his battle tactics. That said, at least it seems everyone agrees the Spartans are winning this engagement. I'm just shocked it's even a debate to anyone LOL.

I'm a month late, but lets keep in mind, most of noble team went out pretty much on their own terms. It also took an entire army to defeat noble 6 after he had sacrificed himself to save the pillar of autumn. Outmatched, out equipped, and outnumbered, with plasma blasts coming from every direction, he still took out a good amount of the covenant forces before he eventually bit the bullet, and that's just the ending of the game. If the rest of noble team was alive at that point, the covenant were going to have to try a lot harder.

Noble Team, heck Jorge himself can likely handle the whole Bad Batch thanks to a combination of his armor, training and experience. Personally I think a face off against either the Null or Alpha class ARC Troopers would be better. They were made to be literal superhumans and are more akin to Spartans given they are meant to act as one man armies with their firepower and training where I see the likes of the Bad Batch and Clone Commandos being akin to ODST’s. Elite yes, but not the absolute best aside from an outlier here and there and even then.

Noble Team would call The Bad Batch “A fucking disappointment” and then nuke them Carter: better leadership skills than Hunter Kat: might not be as quick as Tech, but will body him given he doesn’t have a viable weapon against her assuming she remembers to activate her shields (rounds for the M6D are 12.7x40mm rounds, these things are bigger than 50 AE and theoretically packs a bigger punch, the MA37 still uses 7.62x51 NATO rounds, which are armor penetrating .308 rounds and much spicier) Emile: bro’s got 40mm grenades on his vest, Crosshair could very easily get him IF they spot him, pretty sure Emile was a headhunter which are basically assassins.. I completely agree with this but one thing I’d like to mention as a side note for future videos is maybe including a section based on who they’re used to fighting? Droids are much easier to kill and much less like Spartans in comparison the covenant would be a (generally speaking) more difficult opponent and probably much more similar to a clone than the droids ti a Spartan, it’s not a massive note but it would put a lot of training and experience down the drain for clones, I’m a massive fan of the clone wars but almost all of their training and experience is based around only really losing to MASSIVE number differences

I don't think you give the droid poppers enough credit. sure that armor is heavy but it is power armor, it does at least carry itself. A well placed droid popper, perhaps with a midair crosshair shot to catch them off guard, and that super armor not only looses sheilds but becomes an active hindrance. also I think indoors the bad batch can probably take out at least most of noble if they can make it into a running battel, since that seams to be their specialty, and Crosshair has that thing he does with the mirrors that kills everything.

Aren't Spartans' reactions too fast for anyone on the Bad Batch to even compete against?
@Kellethorn Жыл бұрын
Absolutely. Spartan reactions are astronomically faster than humans, and when they are in their suit, it's even further enhanced so they can react faster than their nerves can even fire. Basically they can think of an action, and the suit will carry their muscles into position for it before their brain can tell their muscles what to do "manually." Further, their eyes are enhanced so they essentially see everything at double/triple the speed we do. If you've ever been in a car accident or caught a game-winning catch or something, you may have experienced time "slow down." This is actually a real thing and it's because your brain, during critical moments, will essentially double the amount of data your eyes take in, hence giving you fractions of a second of time slowing. Prolonged use of this would fry your eyes, but Spartans? They literally live in it, and experience the world in what is called "Spartan Time" or "Bullet Time." The truly wild bit is, that's just THEIR baseline, but under stress, their brain will double/triple even their eye processing. So they essentially live with everyone and everything around them in slow motion, and when they need to, they can slow it to a virtual crawl for a few moments. TLDR; unbelievably fast responses. And given how slow star wars blaster bolts move? It would be like casually stepping around frisbees thrown at you.
@m4x927 Жыл бұрын
Their reaction time is estimated at 20 milliseconds. They move so fast that it's incredibly hard to chart so we only got estimates.

When talking about crosshairs abilities at sniping, I can give you a real life example of the insanity that can come from hardcore sniper training. Family friend of ours was a Green Beret sniper, told us many insane stories about Mogadishu and the sort but, I personally witnessed the proficiency this man possessed. My father is a huge hunter and also did guided hunts, we're all pretty acute and in tune with nature as well as decent marksmen. We were walking along a logging road hunting turkey, we all heard a noise to our left but before we could even look, he had unslung the shotgun off his back, spun it around, and immediately nailed a turkey out of the sky. Within fractions of a second. If you can attain that from training at our level of capacity. Crosshair having neurological enhancements with that training. That's a terrifying combo when executed to the fullest.
