at 4:35 you press the new toonz raster level button but i don't have this button or any of the buttons either side so i was wondering if i had missed something and was hoping someone could help

You can also show the buttons by right clicking over the header area of a column and chosing "Toggle Xsheet Toolbar".

Hey so um, I'm not sure if it's because i'm using a laptop or what, but my application looks really zoomed in. Like, all the toolbars are big and they take up half the screen, and whenever i open a drop-down menu it covers almost everything up. Is there any way I can decrease the magnification of the app or something? edit: fixed, it was just a display zoom error lol

@@MrLazzy57 Does your scene window overlap other windows in opentoonz? I found a fix for myself, basically: > you right click your Opentoonz desktop shortcut > hover over "run with graphics processor" > click high performance Nvidia processor Hope this helps others with the same problem :)

to fix the blank colour editor all u gotta do is pick the brush tool then colour on the canvas. not sure about the other thing tho

My first animation was on FireAlpaca, so this is gonna be interesting since I won't be drawing the same way. This is definitely faster though then drawing on layers, although it is kinda similar but definitely easier. Thank you for this tutorial, still able to follow the steps easy in this. Even though OpenToonz updated it's layout a bit and pref. I almost got confused when my color wheel/palette didn't show up right away, it was hidden until I drew a line.

Right click on an empty frame and select new level. When the menu shows up, select toons raster level from the drop down menu

File -> preferences-> drawing then autocreation: use xsheet as animation sheet This way the program will automatically add a frame on whichever spot you start drawing on on the timeline.
