Carls Jr owns Hardee’s they bought them out in the late 90s. Hardee’s used to be a fried chicken fast food chain.

Carl's Jr always had the best commercials. Definitely worked on me as a kid. I still remember the commercial where some guy was eating a chili burger and he scooped up the chili that fell with his fries.

It's not as popular as the big fast food chains and has far fewer locations so most people haven't tried it. That's all it is really. Taste-wise it's just as good if not better than other fast food burgers.

Our Carl's Jr in the East coast is called Hardees and they sell fried chicken. When I was working in California, I ate at CJr but I was wondering where the chicken was since they are the same company. But the burgers are great.

Australia here. I was going to drive the 60km to try out Carl's Jr in a neighbouring town. I saved my petrol, the store shut down in under 12 months. Seems it's not popular here in Aus! I really wanted to try that chicken burger!

I live in Australia and our fast food options are drastically interior. I tried Carls Jr chicken burger/sandwitch a couple of months ago and damn it was shit. Despite that, there's not a Carls Jr in my town. I always go there when In the next town. I go there for their Hawaiian Angus which is the same as the second burger you ate. I love that burger. I'm not convinced about the rest of their menu however.
