I love your videos however I thought you made them yourself exclusively. People dont need constant daily content. Too much videos is annoying. 😢 it's crazy to pay someone for marketing ect. You were doing fine without all that. I guess you can claim it as a business expense. But it's really not nessesary . You work very hard for your $$. We enjoy you sharing your journey with us . I have never questioned anything you present as anything other than honest. Keeping it simple its youtube not a tv production. No need for production crew. The person probably didn't know the vids are now highly processed and edited for marketing. You are a unique gift . It just makes me sad you think this is neccesary. You made it to the top yourself. No promos needed. I don't know how much xtra you now have to work to pay someone else . Still the thought of it 😢.

Rich did not say he had a crew and nor has he presented his channel as though it was a TV production. He also explained why he did short videos as a method to grow his audience. I don't think the comment question was a slander of dishonesty but rather asking for clarity. All I am saying is, no matter how well meaning the intent, no one have enough facts to tell someone else how to manage their business.

Totally get the point of the video and I don't mean this as an attack to Rich at all, but it blows my mind that there are people who don't have the attention span to watch a 5 or 10 minute video. Being super busy is a totally valid excuse, but if you want to watch a video on a particular topic that you are interested in and you can't sit through a 5 or 10 minute video you need to uninstall Tiktok or whatever else is cooking your attention span like that. Plenty of 30-60 minute videos that I watch most if not all of depending on the creator. Using shorts to market and/or filter people to the right videos is a great use of them IMO, like Rich is trying to do. In that case the shorts themselves become tools to improve the search algorithm, which quite a few YTers have been doing, but folks who only want to watch shorts are wild to me.
