Nobody Today Understands How Good Lev Yashin Was

Lev Yashin is considered by many as the greatest goalkeeper of all time and it's for a good reason. He is the only goalkeeper to ever win a ballon d'or and also took over the world of football with his sweeper keeper style which he would be the biggest pioneer for as his style would be the standard for modern goalkeepers. His performances in the World Cup, Euros, and in the England vs World XI match will forever be seen as some of the finest display of goalkeeping that is possible from a keeper

@@ebonyprincess1400 Yashin was pure class as a man, a great ambassador for football, sport and humanity. He wasn't just a great goalkeeper, he was a great human being. Like Pelé, he transcended sport, he was a national and international icon. Rest in peace, Black Octopus!

Yes Neuer is better than Yashin but we have to respect him that he changed the game, he invented a new role for golekeepers
