Here we are talking about a 20 years long career... playng as a starter for top clubs and national team... playing 4 champions league finals... a world cup final... a Euro final... plus a Euro Under 21 final.. and 3 world cup for clubs finals.... basically he played multiple times each and every final that matters in world football. He scored more than 300 goals and benched a lot of incredible strikers. Can you be lucky for 20 years? I had the opportunity to watch him live in San Siro for many many matches... and when you had the opportunity to look at him at the stadium... you can easily understand why he was always in the right position in the right moment... basically his movements without the ball were masterclass... he was a pain in the ass for the defensive line for 90 minutes straight.... He wasn't lucky, he was persistent, smart and very fast in reading the attacking developments. So, just to conclude, with the ball maybe he was looking poor... but without the ball he was one of the best strikers in the history of football

Now realize that both CR7 and Messi have that tap in skill, as if the ball is always going to them

Lucky? I don’t think so 🤣 If you buy yourself 1000 lottery tickets chances are pretty high you’ll win something right? Well by putting himself in all those positions to score he was essentially buying himself a ticket every time to score and most of the time he did! That’s not luck at all! That’s IQ 🧠 and brains always beats brawn 💯

I wish Real Madrid never sold him to Munch. Ronaldo at left wing, Robben right wing would have been insane.

Muller is the type of player that 99% of youth players aspiring to make it to the next level need to study and mimic. Messi and cr7 should be idolized but they are generational.

Not only a great striker, but also a great guy. You won’t find a single bad press about him throughout his career. No one has ever said a bad thing about him, even rival fans.

Look, it’s not like Müller didn’t have the technique, he was good at everything, that’s why Bayern youth academy put him in the first place……. His technique is overshadowed by his brilliant IQ

i think in footy manager he'd have finishing 16/20 composure 20/20 anticipation 20/20 off-the-ball movement 17/20 acceleration 17/20 pace 9/20 flair 5/20 technique 12/20 determination 20/20 heading 14/20 vision 13/20 first touch 16/20 agility 15/20 bravery 18/20 coach notes: big game player, isnt consistent, likes to bend the rules in match, very professional player off-pitch, strong mentality and ambitious.

Tbh don't forget his "luck", I still remember his 1st goal againts Liverpool in 2007 CL final... the dude just try to run to get rebound from Pirlo free kick, didn't realizing the ball go to him and hit his back while he's running and score a goal Edit: first goal not 2nd goal
